@@RuneRelic ah, took me a second to work out what wheels lol. On the bore gauge, those wheels 😀 Anyway… I didn’t really show it close up but those wheels are sort of spring loaded, when you put them in the hole they move inward so the only points that touch are the parts I zero’d in the mic. What about sliders pin. Should be full in or full out? My boots are full in and I heard scratch noise of brake pads all the time when I drive. So I'm bit confused about boot position becasue it's looks like my caliper won't retract.
@@messiah2534 hi mate, just seen your message. From what I remember the slider pins should be out. If you take everything off and just have the slider pins in the caliper then you should be able to push them and they will ‘spring back’ when I say spring back, there’s isn’t an actual spring but the rubber boot should push it back out if that makes sense? If the slider doesn’t move either way it’s probably stuck in or out then it’s likely seized. You’ll need to pull them out, clean inside and lubricate the sliders, also check the condition of the boots, I’m assuming if it’s seized they’ve failed too. Best bet is to buy a refurbishment kit off eBay, they’re pretty cheap.
@@yardspeed13 I'm not sure because I have boots between caliper and bracket so boot bring it back when it's out. So if I want let boot out then I need put a lot of grease because I already put twice grease to pin and pin is still inside. I noticed now grease is melting and leaking out from one boot. I'm using silicone grease.

Crap Master Cylinder Design... On My 3rd Sqweeky Now 50,000 Miles
That's super unlucky, mine had the squeak when I bought it at 45K miles. Since the repair (new cylinder) I'm up to 75K and luckily it hasn't returned. I feel your pain mate, it's so annoying.
Watching that for 16 minutes was painfull bro
@@CraigDavies-kf1cu cheers for the comment. Sorry for your loss.
Hi there, Many thanks for that video. I would like to add my £0.02 regarding this. I have exactly the same squeak issue on my 2010 Civic Si FK2 1.8 The squeak is not audible when I release the clutch pedal sufficiently quickly (impractical in slow start/stop traffic). The issue goes away in colder temperatures, such as A/C on 17 degrees C (impractical because I sometimes like warmth). Having watched your video I have a strong suspicion that it is a master cylinder issue, rather than bushings issue. In an attempt to fix this problem, I managed to remove the clutch pedal return spring completely. That meant I could operate the pedal without that spring (for trial purposes of course, with engine shut down). Even with that spring removed, the squeak was still present. Lack of presence of the spring made no difference. Hence: - the noise is not produced by the spring rubbing against pedal bracket face - the noise is not produced by these nylons bushes spinning in the pedal bracket holes. Sidenote: I also know confidently that this squeak is not caused by the moving rod in clutch pedal position sensor. Your squeak has gone away which makes me think that it was the master cylinder replacement that solved this problem for you. Has the squeak come back? Kind Regards and many thanks for the video!
@@Razor77725 I think you’re 100% correct. The master cylinder is the true fix here and I suspect in most cases. The bushes were a red herring, but still needed fixing too. I’m glad the video was helpful (I hope it was) You clearly did a proper investigation on your issue well done it’s not an easy part to change. Thanks for commenting and watching the video 😀
Do you feel a nice difference?
@@MissionKid oh yeah, deffo. It’s like a bolt action rifle now 👌🏼 The OG shifter is already good, but this is another level

Hey, thank you very much for the video, is really helpful. Just a quick one, did you pour in ALL 5 litres of the deionised water or no? Many thanks!
Ah mate, glad it helped. You know what… I really can’t remember it’s been so long since I did it. Not very helpful eh?! I might mention it in the video but the coolant capacity is 4.4 litres so I probably used the same about of de-ionised water. 🫡👌🏼 Therefore I wouldn’t have used all the 5 litres in one go.
@@yardspeed13 Haha all good man, that’s a big help. Cheers!
A lot of prep going into this mate, cant wait to see it running! 👍🏻 Are the pistons for the stock 86mm bore in the domes i see? Was that a special order? Or just whats supplied amd expected for the build?
I know this video was a little while ago, but how did you find the 2 bolts with springs at the cat to manifold?, My exhaust is pretty much done from the cat back but the 3 nuts at the cat are never coming off, so plan was to remove at the manifold so I can get it off to cut or drill out the bolts But a bit worried that the bolts at the manifold sheer! Excellent video though mate full of detail and no bs. 👍
@@Alan-mt2tr thanks mate, honestly they weren’t too bad. If you can give them a good soak in WD-40 first and leave them for a bit you should be ok. I’m not going to lie they were tight… and I thought they might snap but I knew I was taking it all off so wasn’t to fussed if it did. Yeah the 3 on the cat were really gone. No chance without cutting. Good luck with it, it’s a pain of a job
Thanks for the reply mate much appreciated. I'm going to have to get it up off its feet and see if I can get it off at the manifold, that's the only way left for me to get it split at the cat, the nuts if you can call then that are completely shot, with nothing left to get even a extractor socket on. Cheers! 👍
@@Alan-mt2tr funny you should mention an extractor socket. Once I had got the manifold off the car I did try one… and it worked. Obviously the nut was shot afterwards but there wasn’t much left to begin with. From memory they’re a pressed in stud with a nut, much like a wheel stud. Like you said it’s been a while, you might have to remove heat shields to get good access to those spring/bolts on the manifold, I just can’t remember.

Hey mate, enjoying your content especially the track build. I wanted to ask if you got a baffled sump installed in the FN2?
@@mizanoorrahman9535 Thanks mate, I appreciate that. I haven’t got one installed yet… I probably should have. I have got one ready for the K24 though, however when I spoke to the guys at Area motorsport they said it didn’t matter as much because of the balance shafts which act as a baffle (to a degree not as good as a baffle obvs) they just told me to top the oil up to the twist of the the dipstick on track days. 👌🏼 Obviously a baffle would be safer. But I’ve had no issues so far.
@@yardspeed13 thanks for the advise! Do you know if the balance shaft delete does bring about power gains as it is claimed? Also do you use semi slicks?
@@mizanoorrahman9535 No worries. I can’t comment on the balance shaft delete making more power as I haven’t done it on my car, but I think it’s fair to say that it does make a small difference, if not on power definitely on faster response/rev up. Yes I use semi-slicks on track in this video it’s a fresh set of A0-52 Yokohamas - very good tyre. Expensive though, I used to ha e Nankang AR-1s which are also very good if you’re on a budget
So basically it's absolutely pain in a ess :)
@@jaroslavmaksimiuk8625 hahah yeah my face in the thumbnail says it all. 🤣 It’s not impossible to do on your own… but I’m lucky I have a decent garage/ramps etc. if I knew what I knew now I’d get a garage to fit it… then again, I’m a bit tight 🤣😂
Im fitting buckets to mine soon. How many resistors is needed per seat?
@@chriscurrie2518 2 per seat mate. 1 for the airbag and 1 for the seat belt tensioner. They’re the 2 yellow plugs under the seat. Hope that helps 👌🏼🫡
@@yardspeed13thanks mate legend. Keep up the videos great content been watching for a good while
@@chriscurrie2518 cheers mate I appreciate that… this is never gonna be a big channel but comments like that make it worth the effort to make the content. Good luck with your seats 👌🏼🫡
@@yardspeed13 seats fitted M2 rails were abit of an ass but got there. Cant figure out how to get the resistors to work. Got same ones as you. Any ideas mate?
@@chriscurrie2518 not sure what you’ve tried. First thing to check is to plug the original seat in and check to see if the circuit is still happy. If not check the fuse. If it is it could point to a dodgy resistor. If that’s all ok and you have a multimeter check the the resistors to make sure they are working. After that I’d be out of ideas. I assume you disconnected the battery before you started? If not if might be a blown fuse. Sadly I don’t know without looking which fuse. Try those things and see how you get on.
Hi mate I have tegiwa 70mm still with its cat everything stock does the car get louder with 421 mani? And does the car drone on motorways because atm with the cat I have 0 drone I’m using my car as a daily but I want to put 3” Ind kit 421 mani and rcc inlet mani and tune to 230bhp with vtec kick in at 4k rpm and after that I’m planning to frank it in the future maybe in the next year
@@MissionKid hi mate, nice plans I respect it 👌🏼 Erm… hard for me to call the noise with a mani, because I can only compare to stock vs Full Tegiwa system. My guess it that it is slightly noisier with the mani… but not by much. I think the 3” will make more noise for sure, especially with decat. So be aware of that. Mine does drone but only above 70mph so not an issue really for me
