Yamaha XSR700 Mods review
มุมมอง 2.5K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
Discussing all the mods that are on the bike (listed). I did forget to mention the seat though. Apart from the looks, it does feel better, the seat height increases a bit and movement during corners feels nicer. I did notice it has less foam near the fueltank. As for the disclaimer, I felt I had to explain why I wasn't wearing proper riding gear since I don't want to promote riding in sneakers,...
That road is quite nice. That Ixil sounds really good!
@@xsr700.grasshopper thanks! I actually wanted the SC project you have, but it wasn’t available here in the Netherlands.
@UrbanXSR mine is pretty cool, the sound is great even with the DBkiller, specially in high revs and I love the simplicity of it but is only Euro 3 approved. Supposedly not road legal. unfortunately.
@ yeaa that’s why. I could not find a variant that did not have the ugly catalytic converter on it ;). Love the pops and bangs on yours!
Ride safe and enjoy bud
Cheers mate!
120 on 3rd gear :D I have the same bike and exhaust as you, I find that i need ear plugs to go on high speed rides, do you have the same issue? I wonder if i need to upgrade my helmet..
@@TheDogWithTheMan hehe :p, yea it’s a pretty revy engine. Ah, cool!. Yea, well i wear custom ear plugs most of the time. But i think is mostly the wind. This bike catches all of the wind, and my helmet (HJC) isnt that great at reducing wind noise. Maybe look into something of Arai, i’ve heard those helmets are pretty good at it.
@ thanks for the tip, enjoy the bike and make more videos, ride safe!
@@TheDogWithTheMan Thnx mate you too!
Great video and what a stuning road, your bike sounds soooo good too.🤟🤟
@@hidde4445it has an ixil exhaust, it belonged to the police in the 90's and i bought it for 500 euros with 50k km , it is an amazing bike for sure.
@@nico22203_hrc Thanks bro! Def one of the best sounding two cilinder engine’s out there!. Is your honda stock?
@@UrbanXSR It belonged to the police here in spain, they changed the rear suspension and the exhaust system to an IXIL one , it sounds sooo good .
@ haha lol, the police changed the exhaust?? Thats sick. Nice one mate 💪🏻🙏🏻
nice sound there! That exahust is original? If not what brand is it?
No its the Ixil Hyperlow! Full system. You can see a full video about it on my channel
@@UrbanXSR i knew it 😁 so gorgeous!
whats your height sir?
@@andreiak4753 194cm
What about the seat? With you height it probablydoent make much of a difference, but do you know if this seat lowers the seat height by any chance?
Yea I mentioned it in the description of the video. But it does make a difference in height. Since its a flat seat and the foam is pretty thick, it does make quite a noticeable difference in height. You also slide back and forth a bit more. But in my personal opinion its better then the stock one.
@@UrbanXSRoh ok thank you, I read over it, sorry. I’m actually looking for a seat the makes it a bit lower, I managed to get my toes down, but a bit more would feel safer.
@@kentower Right, then don't go with this one. I can flat foot it stil but i'm 194 cm ;)
Mt07 new 2025 XSR new 2025 🎉
where do you live? real nice
The Netherlands!
Block treads "buzz" on road. I've noticed the same with my mountain bikes.
Thanks for the info! I've noticed it on other bikes with these tires like a Tenere 700 as well.
How tall are you, please...?
194cm (6”4)
Hell Yeah 😀♥ i got the same Bike and i am so in love with it 😍
Nice!!
Kedo germany heeft volgens mij voor 30e ook de klok relocatie kit voor de teller , en voor 350e de led koplamp inzet
Oh meen je! Ga ik eens ff bekijken. Thanks 🙏🏻👌🏻
Cool mods! For the foot pegs do you need the adapter?
Thanks! And yes you need the adapters. They are pretty cheap and Barracudamoto recommends them on their website
Pretty slick set up dude.
@@Highway9mm thanks dude 👌🏻
Yoooo man, I just bought one ! And I really need your opinion for the tires. I have the stock phantoms, but I don't think that they're that good on wet... I leave in belgium so you know, the weather is awful
@@krisblack06 nice dude! Congrats ✌🏻. As for the tires. These work pretty well in wet conditions. Since they are “rally” tires I personally think these are even a bit better for wet conditions. As I said, I mainly bought them for the looks but I can say they feel amazing on the road. Hope this helps, ride safe and good luck with this shitty weather! (I guess we have the same 😂🇳🇱🇧🇪)
@@krisblack06 oh by the way, I paid around €360 euro’s for the new ones. In case you’re wondering (including mounting)
IMHO Pirelli Phantoms are trash, I got rid of mine and put the Michelin Road 5s about 1 year ago and the bike behavior changed completely. Much more aggressive leaning into the corners, much more grip in any condition. I had the Michelin for all the winter, living in the north of Italy, took a lot of water but always felt safe!
@@Gianluca97sc I've heard a lot of good things about the road 5 and 6!
Nice one 👌🏻
