Catching up on videos I filmed in 2023. This is from our Labor Day weekend. We tried dragon fruit, purchased a snail, celebrated a birthday, visited King's Island, and watched some fireworks.

We took a little beach trip to Tybee Island before school starts! We met up with my sister's family at Hilton Head, explored some cute shops in Savannah, and relaxed in the sand on Tybee. We also visited the Tybee Lighthouse, which was a first for us, surprisingly!

I took the kids back to school shopping for supplies and some new shoes and glasses for Pax. We also went to a summer celebration at Watson's preschool and checked out a new exhibit at the Creative Discovery museum. We also explored Lowry Falls, a beautiful waterfall hike just an hour from our home.

We traveled to Cincinnati and spent some time at King's Island and checked out the Picasso landscape exhibit at the Cincinnati Art Museum. My nephew had a science-themed birthday party that the kids loved! We also spent the afternoon stand up paddle boarding at East Fork Lake State Park and spent some nice time with both my grandmas. It was a fun trip!

Well, my camera was unfortunately lost / stolen, hence the long gap in vlogs. The good news is, I have a new camera! This is footage from the month of June. I worked on staining our deck, painted our mailbox, and planted flowers in the garden. We also hung out at the pool and played a few board games: Gloomhaven - Jaws of the Lion, Spots, and Outfoxed. My family vacationed in Helen, Georgia for spring break. We stayed in a cabin just a few minutes from Helen and spent a lot of time outdoors. While we were there, we did three hikes: Anna-Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, and Smithgall Woods State Park. We also visited the beach at Unicoi State Park, which was really beautiful. We had a great time!

This weekend in March, we visited the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta! The kids loved it and can't wait to go back. We also celebrated Kyle's birthday! I made him his favorite breakfast, biscuits and gravy, and we had dinner at Pizza Bros. The kids also went to a science night at the school which was very amusing. We also put up a new basketball hoop so now we can level up our granny shot.

This is a mish mash of various things that happened in the second half of February. Our friend John came to visit us, I went on a hike to Cloudland Canyon, Pax raced her car in the pinewood derby, and Kyle ran 54 miles in the Elsie Enduro! Happy to wrap up February.

I've fallen behind in uploading so I'm hoping to catch up soon! In this video, we celebrated Pax's birthday! She had a rainbow themed party and family came into town to celebrate, which was wonderful! I also painted a little portrait of her as an excuse to talk about how awesome she is. I also saw Hamilton with my friend Laurel and went to a fun Galentine's party with my friends.

I'm behind on my vlogs, so here's a new one! I took Watson to the creative discovery museum, a children's museum here in Chattanooga, and he had such blast! Then the next day, I took a hike with my friend Mandy at Lula Lake, which is located on Lookout Mountain.

The kids and I had a fun hike to Rainbow Lake, where they played with clay and icicles. Watson and my mother-in-law did another little hike at a spot called Audubon Acres, which was really relaxing and lovely. I took the kids to the mall another day, and they had a blast! And finally, I worked on another painting which I always enjoy.

We celebrated christmas by looking at lights, making cookies, and wrapping and unwrapping presents. We also took a hike to see an icy waterfall! We're all feeling better luckily!

We visited the Tennessee Valley Railroad museum! It was interesting to learn about the history. Pax also had fun at her cub scouts Christmas party. Moms for Social Justice installed a community library, which Pax helped with. And finally, we re-did a part of our dining room to make it much more functional for our family.

We headed up to Cincinnati to visit our families for Thanksgiving. While we were there, we had some fun at a local games center and play a few rounds of chaotic mini golf. We also celebrated my sister's birthday and took the whole family to an escape room!
