25:39 hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Sinner that repented not the sheep that the man went to look for 🤔 🤔. So the kind of joy the shepherd had over his retrieved sheep is an analogy to explain the joy heaven has over a repented sinner. The lost sheep here doesn’t look like a sinner but a once believer that had tasted the goodness of God but veered off in sin. Although there is also a need for repentance on the sheep part. I think a match example to back up what Pastor Kes is trying to say is the story of the Lost son, the father didn’t go after him, but the son CAME to himself and thought to himself in a spirit of repentance and traced his way back to the father. The father seeing him was greatly happy. (His father may have been interceding for him no doubt) but if the boy had refused by his own will not to repent, nothing anyone could have done. Edit( I see Pas Kes now mentioned the parable of the Lost Son to corroborate it. I had written the above before hearing further. ) Please correct me if am wrong.
