@@mfa-FH three really, my rack has 4 inch hole spacing which was too high/low for my squatting. The 6x6 timbers made all the holes 2 inches higher. Also 6 more inches lets me press inside the rack so I can do pin presses. And the treated landscape timbers are pretty heavy, so I didn’t need to drill holes in my porch to bolt my rack down. Thx!

Good stuff. Try dropping the start position of the bar. Come down on the pegs so you get under it and stand up an inch or two, to clear the rack. It will likely feel better than starting about 4 inches off your chest.

Your moving your head too far back and in turn shoulders going back. Losing all of that leverage. Power comes from a straight kinetic line from your feet up to your head. Your losing leverage bending that far back from the plane.
