Again, I'm not fond with how shit the newest plants are. I want them to get their act together and make the game fun again.

The new plants are just straight up awful. Not only do their animations look bad with non-linear, or that they look too funky (not against their designs), but them as a whole. Now lets talk about Mega Gatling Pea. Probably THE most disappointing thing to be added in the game. They have shown 0 ounce of love to it. Yes, it works like a gatling pea but upgrades to 5 peas at any given point. Not to mention the lack of animation and the fact they have reused sounds, making the plant look unfinished. They've cooked up the older seed packet plants (such as vines etc, before broccoli came) like they did with the plants that have existed ever since the launch. Now the new plants are just empty and basically filler. But that's not the only thing why the game fell off. I'm aware that they have deleted multiple datastores causing thousands of people (including myself) to lose all their progress (unless you have it saved on your device). And now,, can we talk about how gameplay pretty much got ruined? They have removed the 'skip tutorial' basically forcing you to go throughout the tutorial. They have made plants from other worlds require seed packets, making the game far less challenging. One of the greatest things they have done is converted most of the P2W plants to seed packets. There may be some ups and downs but this game got milked way too hard. And this is coming from someone who had played the game on a daily basis. As much as I hate to say it, but Plants vs Zombies 2 is a mediocre game. And I can't even play the older versions if it is going to automatically update to the new version.

If Cattail or Cob Cannon get added to the international version, they likely will not have the same design and mechanics from the Chinese version. The agreement PopCap made with TalkWeb to get the game released in China allows TalkWeb to take any assets (code, graphics, music, etc) from the international version and add it into the Chinese version but doesn't allow for PopCap to do the inverse. This is actually the reason why plants like Dandelion and Gatling Pea have completely different designs and gameplay between both versions, since if PopCap wants to add Chinese exclusive stuff, they have to make all of it from scratch and put a unique twist on it.

5:33 to be fair all of these already kinda exist in pvz2. Cattail is basically homing thistle, cob cannon is banana launcher and even gloom shroom is there in the form of phat beeth (although it's much weaker)

I am both amused and horrified by the fact that when they made scaredy mushroom, they could not even copy the color of the skin and the hats with eyes and glare of his two brothers. And the same thing about the mushroom, was it really so difficult for them to copy the model from the top dressing of the Boom Balloon Flower.

In the chinese version, Gatling Pea (Yes the actual Gatling Pea not Mega Gatling Pea), Cob Cannon, Cattail, Plantern, Coffee Bean and Flower Pot work the same as the their pvz 1 counterparts also Plantern, Coffee Bean and Flower Pot aren't coming to the International Version of Pvz 2. Gatling Pea does the same thing that is shoot 4 peas at a fast pace but with it plant food it shoots many peas above and below it lanes. Cattail is just a better Homing Thistle that her thorn have a chance to stun and having a very small chance to launch a huge missile that deal a large amount of damage, her plant food she blast a beam to the closest zombie near the end of the lawn and you don't need lily pad to plant her. Cob Cannon is still the only plant that takes 2 tiles and requires kernel pult to plant, he does the same thing but with a slower recharge and his plant food launch a cob that shoots kernals. Plantern does the same thing that is to reveal fog tiles that are in Memory Lane, he also reveal Bandit Zombie that go invisible when entering the lawn in Dark Ages. When using the plant food he will light up the lawn for 30 seconds revealing anything. Coffee Bean still wake up plants that are put to sleep by Arch Mage Zombie since Mushroom doesn't sleep in the day, he also gives plants a small attack boost. Flower Pot is still Flower Pot and can be planted only on Roof Levels that are in Memory Lane

Cat tail has it probably because of the plant food (idk if chinese has it's plant food but in reflourished it sends out a giant rocket that elctrifies and explodes zombies)
