The grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ, be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
Isaiah slayed this one! Really enjoyed his expectations vs God's plan. Living that now my man! Way to go!
Our pastor is keeping a Conference❤❤❤❤
We do need God in our hearts. As a nation we need better government that will allow God into our hearts and daily lives.
Thank you for this sermon. It is encouraging.
18:00 "You deserve a break today" is a marketing ploy
Every guest rent a pastor is peddling a book - Ugh. Been through this 3x now over the years, sure do miss the Todd/Phil era when there was a deep roster of talented pastors to speak that a church of this size should have. I'm finally moving on from SECC, just tired of this sequence of events that keeps happening there.
❤ Amen
Some say that John wrote this to combat the destruction that Paul was causing by teaching gentiles that they were allowed to eat meat sacrificed to idols, as long as it didn’t cause anyone to stumble. Paul was false, and the Jewish followers of Jesus knew it because they knew God’s word. Nobody is EVER allowed to eat meat sacrificed to idols. An idol is nothing, but God’s word is eternal.
Paul the apostle was not a false teacher or an apostate prophet. He spoke under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the Apostles knew this and it is why they affirmed him in Acts and sent Him out as the apostle to the gentiles. You contradict the Lord who set him apart and chose to use him to build up the church by instructions which you are twisting as you lack context and understanding the point of application. Repent of proclaiming lies and study to show yourself approved unto God as a workman not needing to be ashamed.
@@davidalvarado6420 a man is NOT justified by faith apart from works. GRACE has been offered by God from the beginning, but it’s not free. One must turn from his sins, do the work, and God will give grace. Abraham was NOT justified by faith apart from works. Abraham OBEYED God and that’s why Abraham was chosen.
@@AbrahamsBridges The doctrine of justification by faith alone is not only supported by the writings of Paul but also finds affirmation in the Gospels and the teachings of other apostles as mentioned which you never addressed. Here is a contextual comparison of various passages: Paul's Writings Romans 3:28: "For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law." Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Gospels John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." This verse emphasizes the necessity of faith (believing loyalty/trust) in Jesus for salvation. John 6:28-29: "Then they said to him, 'What must we do, to be doing the works of God?' Jesus answered them, 'This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.'" Jesus emphasizes belief (faith) as the key requirement for doing God's work. Teachings of Other Apostles Acts 15:7-11 (Peter's speech at the Jerusalem Council): "And after there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, 'Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between us and them, having cleansed their hearts by faith. Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will.'" Peter affirms that salvation comes by grace through faith, not through works of the law. 1 John 5:4-5 (John the Apostle): "For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" John emphasizes the importance of faith in Jesus for overcoming the world and achieving victory (salvation). The consistent message throughout the New Testament, from teachings of Jesus in the Gospels, Paul’s epistles to the churches, and the other apostles writings, is that justification and salvation come through faith in Jesus Christ. This faith is distinguished from works of the law, which cannot earn salvation. The apostles, including Peter and John, echo this doctrine, emphasizing grace and belief in Jesus as central to the Christian faith. You mentioned that grace is not free which is contradictory, grace is something freely given despite the fact that you do not deserve it. You stated Abraham as many who promote works is from the apostle James letter but people fail to take context into consideration which brings clarity to the teachings. Paul and James are addressing different issues within the early Christian communities. Paul confronts those who rely on the works of the law (like circumcision and ritual observances) for salvation, stressing that faith in Christ is the only means of justification. James, on the other hand, addresses a potential misunderstanding of Paul's teaching-namely, that one can have saving faith without any corresponding ethical behavior. James insists that such "faith" is not genuine faith. Show from Scripture, in context, that people are justified some other way then believing which is trust and obedience to turn to Him away from sin (no work involved, solely a willful decision to acknowledge your sinful condition and need for salvation and humbling yourself).
Awesome teaching!
This was so awesome! Looking forward to showing my family and friends.
Aaron conveys the messages here so realistically and powerfully. I can tell he is speaking from his heart, mind and soul, led by Christ. Thank you for opening my eyes and helping me understand how to be a better Christian. This church has reinvigorated me!
Wow. Please where looser pants as the “bulge” is incredibly distracting. Also, projection is confessing. Interesting service considering your deception and betrayal of Jesus yourself. People see you for who you are now and WE will not be silent any longer. It’s over for you. I hope you’re shaking in your boots. .
The messages on TH-cam absolutely, completely, positively impact my week. I can reach back on what was heard Sunday and re-apply it during the week. THANK YOU! .... ! ....
Fantastic
Love this video !!! Yes, words do indeed have power. The power to hurt you, to traumatize you. The Bible contains many such words. Great interpretation of Isaiah 55:6-9. I have NEVER before had its proper context explained. Always, it was quoted to cover up the fact that I was being lied to regarding some nonsensical doctrine.
What a great message, So good to hear you again. Judy from Dusty
Yes Kelli & Jayne!! I long for that too in the sanctuary...
This was an excellent presentation. Apokatastasis was taught by the early church. I would love to hear more about your understanding of soteriology, theosis, and universal reconciliation.
Where are the Sermon notes now located? We always printed the "Bulletin"so we could make notes, especially the Implications. Now they are lost or non-existent in Morning.

Wowee Zowee!
The tribulation is is when God pours out His wrath onto a Christ rejecting world. The 7 years is also to restore Israel back to Christ as they soon realize the Antichrist is not the messiah three years in. Many Jews will be saved during that time as well as tribulation saints who will be beheaded by the Antichrist for their faith but will go into heaven. Gods wrath is for those who refuse to repent and reject Him, we are not appointed to His wrath if we are IN Christ, therefore, we are not appointed to the worst time that this earth will ever see. There is evidence all throughout scripture of God protecting those who were faithful before He sent His judgment from heaven. They were protected by Him. He also gave many warnings through the prophets of future wrath that would come if they did not repent. Many were Jews themselves who fell into idolatry and sexual sin. Gods judgment came to those who would not repent and turn to Him. There is also a prophecy of a pre-tribulation rapture in Isaiah 26:19-21. All prophecy will be filled exactly and most of it already has been. Prophecy is very important and should never be ignored. Look at all the people who missed Jesus the first time and had no idea who He even was because they paid no attention to scripture and the prophecies in the Old Testament. The only men who were paying attention were the wise men! They were watching and waiting. We too are to are to be excited and watching for the rapture, looking up for our blessed hope. Persecution is happing all over the world today, that is completely different then the wrath of God pouring out on a wicked world who has rejected Him. He is righteous in His judgements but those who are His will not be here. “ for God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ “ 1 Thessalonians 5:9 We are also the RESTRAINER that must be taken out of the way before the evil one ( Antichrist ) is revealed. 2 Thessalonians 6-9 Which means the tribulation can’t even start until we are gone because the first seal broken is the revealing of the Antichrist. He is on the white horse. Revelation 6:1-4 I hope these help clear things up and I share these biblical facts with all love and I hope that you know that you can have that blessed hope that Christ has promised to us and I pray this gives better understanding of what the tribulation is truly for. It is not for punishment on Christians by God Himself. God Bless and keep looking up, we are going home soon. We are also the fig tree generation that can not pass away before all of these events take place ( Mathew 24 ) The fig tree generation began when Israel became nation in 1948. Isreal is now 75 years old. Those people born that year will not pass away until the 7 years is complete. The book of Psalms 91 tells us that a generation is about 75-85 years old. We are SO close. Much love to all who read this 🤍
My mom went to be with the Lord last year. And now my dad is sick with stage 4 cancer, and pneumonia. He’s not expected to survive the week. I typed in TH-cam “what do we do when it feels like God’s not there” and your sermon came up. Thank you for sharing the words of the Lord.
Thank you for sharing this! I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. If there is anything we can do please let us know!
Powerful sermon!! 🙌🏿🙌🏿
Sermon on the Rapture I would like to give you my view on where the rapture occurs in the Book of Revelation. We can all agree that 1 Thess 4:16-17 (16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever) clearly speaks of the rapture of the saints. The second passage that deals with the rapture is 1 Cor 15:51-52 ( 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed- 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed). The third is Matt 24:30-31 (30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[d] 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other). I will show you where these passages are fulfilled in the Book of Revelation. We will journey through the Bible first to lay the groundwork for the understanding of the meaning of the key word used in the Book of Revelation. Our journey begins in Genesis 9:13 (13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth). Now, let’s look at Ez 1:26-28 (26 Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. 27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking). Heb 1:3 (3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven), when combined with Rev 4:3 (3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne) it should be clear that Jesus is represented by the rainbow. The Father is described using precious stones as opposed to glowing metal and fire in Ez 1:27. Now let’s look again at Matthew 24:30-31 (30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[d] 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.) The sign of the Son of Man is the rainbow, it represents Jesus. Now we can study Chapter 10 of the Book of Revelation. The beginning of Chapter 10 (Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. 2 He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3 and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke.) mirrors the beginning of 1 Thess 4:16 (16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel). The rainbow represents Jesus. It is the sign of the Son of Man spoken of in Matt 24. The angel is the archangel, probably Michael. Jesus issues the loud command with the voice of the archangel. The loud shout like the roar of a lion is the announcement of the coming of the Lion of the tribe of Judah mentioned in Chapter 5 of the Book of Revelation. Now let’s discuss the timing of the rapture. Rev 10 and Rev 11:1-13 both finish just before the end of the second woe, which occurs in Rev 11:14. Immediately after this the seventh angel sounds his trumpet in Rev 11:15. This is the last trumpet and the trumpet call of God. Let me reinforce that statement. Look at Rev 10:6-7 (6 And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay! 7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”). Now what is the mystery of God? The mystery of God is Jesus Christ - Col 2:2 (2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,). The mystery of God will be accomplished = Jesus Christ will return. Let me make some further observations that we can discuss in detail at a later time: Rev 10 could also fit between Rev 6:14 and Rev 6:15. Rev 14:6-13 are fulfilled in Rev 11:13-14 Rev 11:13 is the salvation of the Jewish people. It is the opposite of 1 Kings 19:18. Rev 11:14 and all the destruction therein is the result of Rev 17:15-17. Note that in Rev 11:17 The Father is referred to as the One who is and who was, whereas in Rev 1:4 he is referred to as who is, and who was, and who is to come. The four horsemen - the antichrist, satan, the false prophet and death and hades. The first five to be thrown into the Lake of fire.
That was amazing!! Now I have to read it again and again! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
I just love Tom's sermons ❤️
He does an incredible job delivering God's word!
Wow! Such a good sermon.
Thank you! What was your takeaway?
Nervous but so excited for this series. Beautiful sermon that inspires me to endure for Christ.
We love that you are excited about this series! We love where we are headed with it and how it will impact our community.
Just so touching and realistic for so many of us at this exact moment. Thank you for sharing … thank you for the reminder that God is good. I sure needed it😢. I am praying for your nephew and his bride. 😔
God is good! Thank you for your prayers for their family.
The temple tax and biblical, systematic (required) tithes weren't one and the same. Only consumable items were accepted as a systematic tithe deliverable although it's evident money was widely traded and wages were paid during those times. And no, there's no biblical evidence that Jesus ever tithed, collected a tithe, or left anyone instructions on how to tithe after his resurrection. Giving is a different matter, but we are free to give, not bound to pay.
I appreciate you taking the time to share that.
What happened to her? If you mind me asking.
Hey, Billy. She is in the process of recovering, but has a long way to go. Please be praying for her and the family.
@@southeastccparker I will be praying. 🙏
