We are the King family who loves to explore, travel, and are “seaking” new experiences. Our two youngest are growing quickly and will be heading out into the world far too soon. We are planning to massively downsize, purchase a sailboat, and depart in the next year. Our plan is to live onboard for several years and explore the Caribbean area. Joining us are a couple of canine crew members who will stand watch during the journey. We will be logging and documenting our preparation and journey to share with family and friends. Please feel free to join us as we explore new parts of the world.
Diving with Whale Sharks!!
An amazing few days when the Whale Sharks came to visit Panama City Beach, FL! This year's Gulf migration was unbelievable with Whale Sharks in the water on several dives. This is a short collection of all the videos captured by our divers over several days for your enjoyment. Its survey day for our next (hopefully) home! Similar to a home inspection, a surveyor reviews of all the systems, performs a test sail, and the boat gets lifted out of the water to see the hulls. Diving US Navy Stage 2 Wreckage

Unbelievable visibility diving the US Navy research platform known as Stage 2! This site is known for less than15 ft of visibility at times and can be very disorienting. This dive was 40 ft of vis allowing us to tour the entire structure. The Black Bart wreck is a local favorite dive in Panama City Beach. This is an older shoot (so forgive my shaky shots) but has some great footage of the vessel. We ran into a Sandbar Shark and then had a surprise visitor at the end of the dive. How deep is this dive?
The top of the Bart is about 50 ft, the deck is around 65, and the bottom is right at 80 ft. It used to have a pilot house that was right at 40ft, but it was knocked off in a storm a few years ago.
I have the 420 it's identical just without the raised helm. Very comfortable boat. Not as fast as some, but tons of space for the size.
We like the layout on both the 420 and 421. The space is similar to 45 ft boats or even slightly bigger. The tradeoff is that the boat is a bit slower, but we are not in a rush.
Great video with great camera work! Thanks for stabilizing the video. Would recommend a drone for a different perspective, plus they are fun! That boat looks great and can't wait for more videos.
Thanks for the feedback. Drone incorporation is in the works for future videos. It was difficult to gain permission to fly a drone at that marina (located on a military installation)
That was cool at the end with the what looked like a Goliath Grouper in the bait ball!
