First of all, this was filmed in Cape Cod MA and the plot is nothing like 90210.

This intro is shit, it doesn’t even fit the show or the intro. The new song is better and plus I started watching the show with the new song.
Both songs were used simultaneously when the show originally aired. 'I Don't Wanna Wait' was the title song in the USA, and 'Run Like Mad' was the title song for the first season run in the UK. It switched to this song for season two onwards. 'Run Like Mad' is used now on Netflix etc., because the license expired for 'I Don't Wanna Wait' some years ago.

acussy It doesn't exist. This is all that was ever written and recorded. it was recorded as the theme song for Dawson's Creek which ran on the international broadcast of Season 1. And eventually replaced I Don't Want To Wait on the DVD releases starting with Season 3. But this is all that exist of the song. Unless Jan Arden decides at some point to change that.
