Impossibles Cliff climb - The Excuse (part 2)
มุมมอง 104 หลายเดือนก่อน
After the breathless cliff climb at Impossibles on the Uluwatu Bali peninsula I decided to recap the previous video and insert some excuses. Attempting to sound like an athletic professional I have explained the indignity of filming myself in Oxygen Debt. ( ensure you view my previous video on Impossibles Cliff Climb)

Follow this adventurous 71 year old as he descends the cliff stairway from the top down to Impossibles surf break Uluwatu Bali and then attempts the climb back up. Views of Padang Padang and Impossibles are captured at surf level. This rather humorous look at the ageing of physical ability is entertaining.

Are you proposing we abandon the airport?
Im proposing we acknowledge the Financials facing the Valley. Including imminent ratepayer increases to stay viable. This video brings the cost of under utilised assets to the whole community. I will be doing a series of videos on this subject ( please subscribe and share). I am encouraging discussion to plan next steps. So far emergency and medical professionals need to meet with logistics specialists to have a look at all possibilities as that area of airport usage seems to be the only reason to have it exist. There have been attempts to relieve costs to the ratepayer but have all been protested against. So right now it is a work in progress, hopefully expedited to stop the bleeding of funds. Im not proposing to ignore the emergency uses but after all information is gathered, I am proposing to abandon the cost to ratepayers. Whatever that will look like.
👏👏👏👏👏 you legend. Thanks for bringing this up.
Thank you. It is a lonely place that I am coming from, but I think people should be informed. I appreciate your kind words of encouragement.
And the locals kicked out the flight training school that would have payed for the upkeep and brought heaps of money into the local economy but no we couldn't have that you all kept winging about the sound of the plans and that they were Chinese. You can't have ya cake and eat it to....
Very true. There is a “club” and they all live within the pristine airport area…….
