In this story it seems that this cop 👮 over stepped his boundaries and his dislike for this black 🖤 girl 👧 was horrible. He needed to be arrested and charged for a crime. Yet this happens everyday in reality as well well, it's a shame that we have to go through this process for no reason.

A shameful attack on a young girl, criminal assault if I am not mistaken. One has to feel for Niamey, to people of colour their braids are an important element of who they are, and for this young girl of colour to have been assaulted in the way she was would have had a traumatic effect on her. I suspect that it was this very element of her identity that lead Officer Grayson do what he did. As for the actions or lack of action by the Principle, I am left wondering how she ever rose to become the Principle of this prestigious school. From my own experience as a school governor of many years, a school is usually only as good as its leadership. I know that in time Niamey’s hair would grow back but until that happened, just imagine how the loss of her crowning glory would have affected her. ❤
