The grounds at Table Rock Jungle Lodge in San Ignacio, Belize are freaking beautiful. On our day of arrival we ran into a torrential jungle downpour, but once we got settled and toured around the acreage a bit, we decided to hit up Table Rock's Infinity Pool... and it was fantastic.

Big Rock Falls is about 35 minutes from San Ignacio, Belize. We had a rental car so we drove in hopes of finding it. The signage isn't great but it got us there. As it turned out, Big Rock Falls was all ours on this day.

Table Rock Jungle Lodge in San Ignacio, Belize was an incredible stay. We had full access to the property and all the activities they had. We decided to take a tubing adventure down the local river which had a small hike going and coming back. Didn't have the @GoPro set up quite right with my chest mount, it wouldn't rotate up any higher and I thought Wide would be sufficient. :( Still a super fun ride and the hosts were freaking fantastic!

That's a tough hike. My dad and I did that about 10 years ago and he was 67 years old at the time. He did just fine though.

Monkeys are getting diabetes and developing bone disorders because of tourists feeding them. Believe it or not, the kinds of wild bananas monkeys eat in their natural environment ARE not the same as the ones humans eat. They aren't as sugary.

Just a PSA to those who might consider hanging out at the base of El cap. Rock fall is a regular thing and can kill you. Last time I was there a basket ball sized peice came down and nearly hit the belayer on that exact route. Be aware and consider wearing a helmet.

I honestly don't remember but it took us quite a while to get through all the ziplines. It was beautiful and the last line was 1 kilometer :)

Unknown Films Hi, we never had any problems but... I just heard today that the fireworks shops are closed and so is Pyramid Lake due to the COVID thing. May want to call a fireworks shop before you make the trip.

No check points I just got back yesterday night. Just drive the speed limit and don’t have any visible fireworks! You’ll be fine

It’s too bad it seems that every video for this hike seems to gain the crater rim but not the actual summit. Any idea why that is?
Tim Flannery The last part of the hike was a little disappointing. You have all these people trying to huddle into this real small area to get pics. And, the guides don’t give you much time. That’s as far as the guided hike goes.
@@CreativeLifeMemories kind of late on this one lol, but the different peaks are too dangerous to get to for guided groups. I used to go for a few weeks every summer during high school to help out with a church there and we hiked the volcano a few times. Went to all three summits and even down inside the crater. The easiest summit is actually just behind and above where you guys came out of the trail and looked into the crater. There a place you have to climb but its not overly crazy. just not suited for a big group. But, the view is spectacular! You get a full view of the volcano and of the ocean as well. The other two peaks are very dangerous. We were pretty experienced climbers so it wasn't;t too bad for us, but the views up on the top two peaks are insane! Lastly, the crater is pretty cool too, the climb down is sketchy though but there's this cool freshwater pool and you can see lots of cool birds, insects, and such. It is a hard hike, but it definitely makes it less fun with 30+ people lol. we were also fortunate to have good local friends that went with us. I have been to several islands in the Caribbean but St.Kitts is special to me and by far the most gorgeous besides St. Lucia!

Awesome video and what a fun family!!! I could see your son was nervous on one of the platforms so happy to hear they did their best to alleviate all of that! Question, I want to zipline to not only experience it but to help overcome some of my fear of heights, the actual platform that you initially jump off one in the very beginning, do you have to climb a great height to actually get to the platform itself or when you enter the park and walk to the first platform is it already at the height of the first jump. I have less fear about being already high up and jumping then I do to actually be the person climbing. I know it is strange but fears are not reasonable. If you can answer that question I would appreciate it
trayhappygirl Hey! Thanks for the comment. You’re asking me to reach back in memory here... :). From what I recall there wasn’t a climb to the first tower as we were already kind of in top of the mountain so it was all downhill from there. Please understand that you will be zip lining from some high places, my wife was initially terrified and finished. She even did the Tarzan swing towards the end, which you can hear us giving her some grief. Hope you give it a shot and enjoy!
