I know the feeling, I thought the same when Karaoke Version released it, and I think I even reported it to them, hoping for a correction, but they never did.

Being a big CoJo fan, and having met and spoke to him personally, I have nothing but repect for the man. Having been produced by a professional karaoke company, I have to agree that I would like to have seen it done a bit better.

It is actually in the right key, it's just a bad attempt at the most, and I might add the backup singer does suck. 100% the same key as the record.

@@RB-yk9vs the backup singer is singing a harmony, not a melody. It isn’t going to be at the same key or tone as the main singer, so it’ll either be a bit higher or a bit lower, but It’s made to add more vocalization and character into the music. Almost all songs have some sort of harmony going on.

Actually, many karaoke tracks for purchase come with optional lead vocal, as well as background vocals. If you create a better version, outside a studio, let me know.

CONSPIRACY DUO better than nothing. As of right now, this is technically the only karaoke version of this song that I’ve seen.

This was a difficult one to work with, so I agree it's not the best, but with some mixer adjustment, and vocally matching the background vocal, it actually doesnt sound too bad. Please let me know when you create a new and improved version, I'd love to have it.

I use a free open source program called Audacity to remove vocals, and then use the equilizer and high pass filters to tweak the sound. I often work with multiple track layers, copying and pasting my progress into a new track layer. It's definitely a learning process, but with some patience and time you find what works best for you. There are a ton of tutorial videos on TH-cam on the subject, I would suggest taking the time to watch some of them to help get a better idea of the process, here's a link to a short video to start, th-cam.com/video/JYO7Fj5BORM/w-d-xo.html. A couple suggestions I have would be: 1) Use an audio track with a high bit rate, low bit rates tend to end up sounding warped or tinny. I usually rip my tracks from a CD if possible, in the highest bit rate I can. 2) Save your work often, nothing worse than having put time in to a track, then loose what you've done if the program crashes for some reason. I hope you find this info of some help.

Daniel, I agree, it's a shame that there aren't more backing tracks or karaoke available, but sadly, the karaoke companies are more about money and sales than actual good quality music.
