Havdalah Together with SVIVAH
With Rabbanit Dalia Davis, Felicia Sloin
“Shavua tov”, may it be a good week. That’s what we say when Shabbat ends and the week begins. May it be a good one.

Coming out of the intensity of the holidays and into this transitional moment, transitional season, moving into shorter days, more darkness…. can we come together for some light? Let’s be together. Let’s start the week with our light.

CW: Discussion of gender-based harm Tisha B’Av is coming. The day of Jewish mourning of all our losses throughout history. We read the text of Eicha, Lamentations, about destruction of walls, violence against women, mothers burying their children… the text doesn’t feel like an ancient retelling of a tragedy. Instead, this year, it reads like a summary of recent news. And it is hard. The sexuaI ...

And yet we have people marching in our streets in support of these animals and war criminals and conducting their own pograms on the streets of Amsterdam just the other day. Did not our elders say "never again" after WWII?

Pls google the interviews with Mosab Hassan Yousef (son of the co-founder of Hamas Hassan Yousef) and learn more informations about the conflict. There are many people failing to see the background of this conflict. To understand it we need to understand the religion of the people of the middle east and when I say religion I mean Islam. It is a religious cult wich conducts itself as a religion when in reality the main reason for the entire conflict is Islamic ideology. I hope one day people will figure this out collectively. People - especially Muslims need to read the Quran. And when they finish start reading about the life of Muhammad and if they get the chance compare it with the Gospels. Muhammad invented this „religion“ 1400 years ago. However it is not the truth. In fact Islam has the potential to be the greatest religious sect that has ever existed in the history of mankind. But it has weaknesses: and these are its many lies. And that’s it: Without lies - Islam dies. One day the people of the middle east will see it with their own eyes. One day all of them will be free. And then there will be peace.
