Its so crazy that I did CDAC, I had option of doing Embedded or VLSI but since I didn't get any chance in Electronics industry (less marks) I thought I should go for IT only. Fast forward to today, IT isn't same and Electronics have gotten better, with more opportunities online and more info available like this channel.

Hi bro I am ece graduate with 2 yrs of work experience as a frontend developer. But recently i have started my gate prepration and now I want to do Mtech in VLSI or related field. The reason is with rise of Gen AI I am fed up and I think I can lose my job in future to genAI. I am preparing for gate and want to do mtech because I believe GenAI can't replace a hardware or VLSI engineer is it right?

Yes. you have been covered all the information , thats what an electronics student should know about this field. But talking about starting salaries , the salaries you have been mentioned are too much. In semiconductor industry the salaries for freshers are starts from "6 LPA" and in consumer electronics it goes down to "3 to 3.5 LPA".
