I've sought out and rewatched this specific video a few times a day since finishing season 2. (At least 20 of the views are me lol). The timing, the specific choice of animations so that it looks like characters are reacting to the voiceover or giving extra context to their dialogue (eg flashes back to bridge fight scene when Ekko says he feels like he woke up in a different universe). The peace sign on the forehead from Powder (AHHHH). You only had like four minutes of screentime to work with and made something absolutely beautiful. From one fan to another - thank you!!!!

Okay...see I have a problem now. How is it that we are introduced to a character in Season 2 and instantly fall in love with him. Honestly speaking I love Mal but there's something about the way Nicholai looks at Alina....it hits different. It's vulnerable and honorable. He knows she loves Mal and just wants her happy. That is honestly what draws me to this character. He's the prince that most of us dream about. I'm not sure whether the show writers are sticking to the books but man I wish to see these two kiss at some point. That would be epic.
I hope they stick to the books, because KoS is just sublime. Zoyalai is such a powerful couple, and it would be very disappointing if they delete this story arch to make Nikolai and Alina a thing. I didn't even like the fact that Alina became a member of the triumvirate taking the place of David. In the books the Alina's story was "simplier" but worked better
@@vali_valilla395 Yea, I completely disagree. I hate KoS so much I haven't even bothered reading the entirety of it. The problem with KoS is that it completely ignores the original lore and world-building of the world while making the original books feel stupid. Additionally, it makes the world and setting of the characters revolve around the main characters in a way that makes it feel like the world changes for them, and less like the characters learn to grow within their world. So yea hope they go a completely different path with the show, that whole Zoyalai storyline could have been good if done correctly but it wasn't.
I think everyone wants to see it, but Zoya had this opportunity. And that's killing

Although I hated Rafe for most of the show and I hardcore ship Jiara, I actually like Riara's chemistry! I feel like Kie would like Rafe if Rafe was a good person, and Kie brings out Rafe's soft side.
