I would say the object 248 is a bit better bc first things first its a premium platoon and u can get it for free (if you lucky enough like me). The second thing is the reloading speed of the obj 248 is so damn fast like its the soviet’s lowest tier heavy tank that can 1v1 the king tiger and it’s 100mm has the same penetration like th 122mm but a bit less damage but i don’t necessary see it a bad point because tier 5 right now is very mess with a lot a paper armor tanks, so shell wont be fuzed when u shooting at targets like the fiat, m109, spaa,… Another thing i see the obj 248 better is because of it’s platoon, it might be difficult for newbie but the you know exactly what the su100p can and can not do, you will feel that the su100p is one of the best soviet’s anti-tanks tank

It depends on the situation, if I'm fighting a target like KPZ41 or something like that more than 1then I choose the object, but if I'm fighting a target like Jagdtiger or Hori, then I choose the IS-2 because it can do one shot from the front if you know where to shoot And IS-2 Is good for attack with go bacward strategy because it's reverse speed can be 17 km/h
