Duolingo is pure crap. It's an advertising platform, not an educational tool. It only survives because it is free. Duolingo's error rate is astronomical. It has a 99% drop out rate. It uses an educational approach from the 1950s - and I think some of the databases are that old. The narrator makes three errors and has a poor accent - and this is after practice and editing! This is due to Duolingo's lack of good audio. It's an advertising platform, not an educational tool. Any alternative is better.

i love speechify it's my favorite app. but there is quirks that need to be addressed 1. uploading folders of pdf's the folders are not copies also so you need to make them manually. this creates extra work when uploading stuff. 2. uploading stuff errors alot. uploading 100 pdf's can take hours. alot of times uploading fails and you have to refresh or log out and log back in over and over hoping it doesn't error while uploading. 3. not always the names of the files is accurate when uploaded and you have to rename the pdf. for example it may show random letters, and you have to click on it to see what it is then manually rename it. this is tedious when uploading 100s of pdfs. 4. i am unable to speak to human support to address such issues. i eventually get the stuff i uploaded that i wanted to upload but i felt it was way more difficult than it should of been. i wanted to make recommendation of these points but unable to access a human.

One of the nursing schools I want to enroll in is accredited by CNEA. Is it not a good choice to enroll in that school?

The video was suggested through Unity but after watching, I have realized how important it is to be present and engage in online discussion posts. I struggle a lot with being able to talk and be active in online discussions but with these tips, I hope to better myself and help others with the same struggles as me. I now know the importance of discussions boards and the purpose they hold. Thank you for helping me understand more clearly and how to improve my online discussions and how to engage with my peers better.

This video was suggested to me through Unity. After watching this video, I now understand that the discussion board is more then just a place to quickly respond but engage with my classmates, no matter their journey. I am going for environmental conservation and knowing how to respond and react to a post or reply in the discussion board will help me out in my profession. Thank you for making videos to get college students, like me, a better point of view on tasks that need to be done.

The worst ever made app that calls itself a language tutorial. It tries to attract users with its various animations, but the program is a miserable attempt with all its mistakes.

No honest person can consider Duolingo to be a good language learning program. It can't even be considered a tutorial at all. Hundreds of thousands have stopped using it. It aims to cause its users a morbid addiction to computer gaming

I went and where you click to download it said, ‘download from the tor mirror’ and then under that downloadable link in parentheses it says (make sure you’re accessing via tor) has anyone downloaded when it’s like this? Do you have to have a tor browser to even be able to download the book or can you just click the ‘download mirror from the tor mirror’ this is very confusing coming from someone who does not know how to use tor / doesn’t have one.
