Amazing video! My grocery spendings on junk food is shocking. I've decided to downsize from renting a flat to renting a room in a shared house. I'm dreading it but I'm going to sacrifice a couple of years to save for my mortgage. Everytime I saved a substantial amount, I had to pay for funerals or surgery for family pets. Now its just me, by renting a room I'll be saving an additional £700 instantly. Crazy. I reckon I could have a mortgage deposit within a year but I'd rather have savings in my bank when I get a mortgage rather than scraping.
