Kayak fishing the Ocheyedan River.
Decided to go fishing on the kayak to get away from a terrible week. So I kayaked some of the Ocheyedan River and caught a few catfish.

Fishing the river after a major flood

After the major flood in northwest Iowa I decided to go out and try my luck after the river went down and got inside its banks. The fishing wasn't what I expected but it was nice to get out and away from the damage in town.
Mushroom Hunting with some asparagus

I went fishing on West Lake Okoboji. I marked a lot of fish where I didn't expect to and got a little scared on the big lake with my little boat.
Catfishing adventure

I hiked in around 3/4 of a mile to the river to attempt to catch some catfish on a new bait. I ended up going back to my trusty stink bait

Hiking with Charly

This is Charly's first time actually hiking in the woods with me. We didn't have a direction in mind just trying to get her into the woods to explore and see how she handles hiking and being in the woods.
Racoon Release

Visiting Pipestone National Monument

My wife and i went to Pipestone National Monument in Pipestone Minnesota for my birthday. It was fun learning about the park and its history with the Native Americans.
