@@thefurioussoupgang2326 Yeah, deadlines, cancellation by Sony before CAPCOM bought the rights, and female protagonists with interpersonal relationships weren’t all that viable with publishers in 2013 apparently. They had to cut out a lot of the story that was already developed in the game and that’s why it kind of hops around everywhere on what it focuses on. DONTNOD was in a bad situation after this game released, luckily Square Enix picked them up, but DONTNOD doesn’t have the same budget anymore so they can’t come back to this game if they really wanted to. This game is a graphical and software masterpiece, being stable on release, and I’ve never had any glitches or issues (other than doesn’t work great with newer PC hardware and pushing the game past its limits) and additionally DONTNOD developed a rendering and Lighting system in Unreal Engine for this game that is strangely used by almost all AAA games today, they have to make references almost like a Wikipedia article, I couldn’t really tell you why game devs do that, but it’s nice. You can find a lot out by looking up the Remember Me GDC presentation you can find the wordpress document but sadly only the Music Composition GDC talk was recorded and viewable on TH-cam (GDC is like TED talk for game devs). I could definitely have seen this game being viable and put on a high pedestal if it released within the past 4 years, they were just TOO early.

Oh...I give it at least 3 more episodes, before these two go way-way off the deep end.
