Brother, are the last troops' technologies like Double Shot,Sheild Block, Lance Thrust & Spear Swipe really effective and give powers to the legion?? I have already completed Double Shot, Sheild Block & also Lance Thrust.... But to my observation, these technologies don't affect the increase of troops power at all. Is this a bug? Or these technologies are useless? Kindly answer my question.
These troops technologies are good to have but not game changing. Usually you dont get power by upgrading the troops itself or at least not by a lot. most of the power comes from the immortals, skills, artifacts and portrait. Although you dont get any power from these tech, they are still really good tech, they are not useless at all. to me, they are probably one of the most important tech in game because it helps my troops (excluding the immortals) to be stronger and last longer in fights.

The Baldwin buff is huge in my opinion, because that 25% increase counts for both of the split parts of his first strike. With his EA equipped he is going to be a force to be reckoned with, possibly the best burst mage in the game. Looking forward to trying him out in a double mage build
You are right, He used to be my favorite mage in the game. I only wish he was other element. Baldwin with Artifact had already 100% change to spit on first split while second had 50% before the patch, after the patch 100% on first and 75% split is going to be really strong. A game changer? maybe, but its definitely a great buff for him to finally more relevant again.

He is definitely up there, He is so OP and with his artifact is just different breed!. The only reason he is not in S+ tier for me is because I think it is easier to fight him than Poseidon.
