Working like a rookie - part 1
First, thanks for your comments left during the past weeks and months. And good to see that we've got 1500 subscribers now! Thanks for all of you that have done that! Not much has happened on this channel, we've been very busy with dry and dusty projects. Meaning no opportunities to make new mud content. This will be the case from the remaining part of 2024.
However, as requested, we made some content in a rookie style and this is the outcome of that. Before the (misspelled) "sinking ground" sign was properly based, the poor guy had lost his hard hat and got himself covered in thick and heavy mud. This is why we don't hire rookïes. But hey, at least the sign remained almost intact!
As for contact details, I can only be contacted by gmail (dirtyworksdocs) and response times can be long...

Black Friday at DW is black and dirty but we have no special offers or discount for our services. In today's video I went out to a testing site containing very unforgiving mud to experiment how PROS' chest waders do in such challenging conditions. This is the first round of the test.

After some preparations it was time to get the work done. It got messier than expected but the good news is that water started running again from the drainage pipe. The hot days are over so next time in regular waterproofs again.

This was just a routine assignment, opening a clogged drainage pipe, but as the day was very hot jeans and tall riding boots seemed a proper choice instead of our regular work gear.

Where is this? I’ve never seen an area that buoyant by the time the top is dry and crusty-looking.
It was like this only for a short while after the sediments had been dumped into this pool. Unfortunately.

Why wear a hard hat? I'd take that mud all over me in my leathers head on. Getting aroused just thinking about it. I'd roll around in that mud for a while when done. Woof.

I would love to have that mud fall down on me in my full leathers. A total mudding like that would be such a turn on for a muddist like me, especially if some one was with me to rub that mud on one another.
Another question I have is, is the cameraman dressed like you in waders and a rain suits as to protected and dressed to enter the quicksand/mud if needed?
Oh yes. Company policy at Dirty Works. No business to sites like this without proper gear.
At the end just before you were able to get free were you still sinking deeper in the quicksand like mud? Could you have sunk deeper to over your shoulders or even neck deep? Had you sank that deep you probably would have needed the help of the photographer.
Not sure about that. I had my other foot on more solid ground. Had that been the case I might have needed help to get up. Or then not. Hard to say afterwards.
I can’t get how fast you sank from waist deep to shoulder deep getting stuck deeper and worse the more you struggled. The struggling did work you in deeper but I could see the quicksand like mud was pulling you in deeper, it looks like the type of mud that you would have sunk that deep even without struggling
