The BassX rod is a 7' Medium Lite rod with a Seviin GS Series GSS2500 reel. Line setup is 12lbs braid to 8lbs fluorocarbon leader. Started using this setup this year for finesse style fishing....especially for smallmouth bass. It's been amazing to use with Ned Rig or other finesse lures like Great Lakes Finesse.

I keep Salmon and Trout….when I can catch them. Bass and pike I put back to catch again.

@@Amf4493 Can't beat salmon or trout. We only get sunfish, pike, and bass where I fish so we usually keep one or two bass. This last trip I left the bass in milk over night and did a beer batter. Turned out amazing. Fish my son caught.
