I was a suppy teacher in UK Primary schools and this was loved by students between age 4 and 11. I read it to a class of 6 year olds on my last day of supply teaching in primary schools (I was moving to a permanent teaching job with 15 year olds) and when I finished the class gave me a standing ovation. (The children didn't know I wouldn't be reading it again )

The story is written by Eygene Trivizas only and all of his fairytales are illuminating gems among the modern Greek fairytales. Helen Oxenbury is the illustrator.

I remember kindergarten.

I first read this when I worked for a daycare. I love this story.

I remember this from when I was in grade school which was decades ago and this book has always been one of my faves for sure!

I read this book at my Primary School when I was a child. From the illustrator of "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" comes "The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig".

My son is in kindergarten e he totally loves this story. I have to read it at least once a week for bedtime. There's this project in his school in which parents will read a story to the students in the class. Guess which one he wants me to read? Hahaha

I like this story and the three wolf pups are cute and there needs to more reversed versions of my favorite fairy tales I wouldn't mind some more heroic wolves as the protagontists for a welcome change I like Wolves they're my favorite Animal.

The Three billy goats gruff

So so much different from the original (in greek). All the rhymes and beautiful words missing but still it's so interesting the reverted story of the 3 little pigs.
