Well I mean... That's kinda what it is. My dad wants a T500 though, but I wonder how much of a vibration machine that is as well. The T350 starts vibrating above 100km/h like crazy. Apparently its just how those things are.

@@mascinivision A good setup will get rid of a lot of the vibration. First check for equal compression on both cylinders, if the compression is not more or less equal the engine will always run rough. After that set the contact points lift. I always used a dwell meter instead of feeler gauges for increased accuracy. Then use a strobe light to set the timing. Don't trust to much on the factory timing marks, it's better to check with a dial gauge to see if they are correct (both TDC and ignition).You will only have to check this once, but don't be surprised if the marks are a few degrees of. If they are, make your own markings. Now it's time to adjust the carburettors. make sure that the carburettors are immaculate clean and that the floats are adjusted, needle clips in the right position and idle screws turned out. Set the air screws in the recommended position, usually between 1 1/4-- 2 turns out. Now adjust the throttle cable(s) free play. When that is done it's time to synchronize the gas slides. Don't use the gas slide dots but adjust them by ear, listening to the moment the slides hit the carburettor body. (make sure they hit the body, not the idle screw). Now adjust the air screws for calm idle and a good throttle response. As you can see it's all about getting the settings for both cylinders as close as possible. There will always be a vibration on a twin but when this happens below 5500rpm it's a clear sign that something is not right.

Cool! That's been a long while. Currently the T350 is maintenance, gotta get it rebored for +1.5mm. Was running a lot better than in the video too, got new electronic ignition from VAPE which replaced the faulty original dynamo.

@@mascinivision Wow, great that you have rebored it and installed electronic ignition. It will run like a dream now. Around June 1972, I bought another T350 Rebel which came in 3 large cardboard boxes. It used to belong to a guy who raced it. With the help of a Suzuki mechanic, we re-assembled this Rebel and got it running, I then sold it to a school friend. Last year around June 2023 by sheer fluke, I met the guy who raced this Rebel . The world is a small place.

Hey, not sure where you are from or what parts you are looking for specifically, but in Europe there are several suppliers who have parts for Suzuki T twins, like Classic Suzuki Parts www.classicsuzukiparts.nl/en . If it's not on their website you can always send them a mail asking if they got second hand parts. On Ebay there are also a lot of parts still available.

Hey Sahibsahi, I know here a good T350 Spare bike with electronic ignition and new crank bearings for sell for 500£. The guy want really sell this as parts bike, still in running condition.

I can imagine they don't often drive them and they store and use them with a lot of oil so the pistons dont get stuck. Nearing the end of the video you can already tell its becoming way less.

Pretty sure it's the 'please don't go fast' light, which activates if you go faster than 80km/h. Which is what the speed limit used to be in Japan. I compared it to a picture I took of the dash of a Z2 750, and the kanji are the same. The Z2 also had a horn connected to the this speed warning light which will honk if you go over the speed limit. Obviously this part has been disconnected by many and can be considered rare (as is the Z2 over here anyway). Enjoy your bike! Hope it runs smoothly and drives for many smokin miles!

It's nice when it revs out. Had some issues with the air filter box. Turned out to be a smaller one of the 250 I suppose. So the air was cut off too much and thus it couldnt rev out, like in the end of the video. The bike has a surprising nice bassy tone to it actually for a two stroke. It's never too late to look for another one! Theyre not too uncommon!

de microfoon is niet eens de duurste of grootste, ben blij dat hij zo goed werkt, zelfs met wind. Het is een Rode videomicro. Enige minpunt is dat mensen denken dat je een dooie rat op de camera hebt zitten haha
