Yes, you are correct. That is why I love fighting mustang on the D9 because it really represents a challenge in the knife fight, but also in this escenary I was with the advantage for the rate fight but if we were equal at energy he would have been able to outrate me. I also did a couple of mistakes, which I could have turned the fight around early. Since the D9 is much better on the vertical and I gained a small energy advantage on him early on.

The pony pilot was a total noob. Missed several clear kill shots and didn't chop his throttle in the rolling scissors, which would have presented him with a shot.

Yes , you actually correct. Not only against the P47 but in the other two fights, I did a couple of mistakes, which I got lucky to survive . In any other circumstances like the 1L event, I would have flown much smarter and more careful, but for the sake of the video, I'm forced to take risks in order to capture good dogfight scenes. This ended in me making mistakes and dying. But still, I get a lot of fun with those fights regardless of the results. I'm glad you like the videos, Im planning to mix this style of cinematic with fov videos . The issue is that a lot of good fights get lost due to files getting corrupted. Hopefully, in the future, DCs provides a better replay system.

Only in specific occasions, such as chasing the P51 or creating distance from the spitfire. But during tight turns, it's dangerous to use. At least I always experience engine damage during tight turns while using mw50.

Currently, they have the pimax light for $700 usd and the crystal with all the bell and whistle for $1200. This are the best VR for dcs because it's a PCVR, which is important with the latency and the best resolution. I'm currently flying with the crystal .

@ashleycage7309 Yes, 50+ fps at 90 hz. Some servers like GS or enigma I get between 45-50 due to the CPU load. But it's more about finding the sweet spot of the system. Tune it till you get stable frames.

I did. Both have some similarities, but what really separate both is DCS has a better flight model and damage model. Of course, the damage model is still far from perfect , and many things such magazine detonation and proper pilot damage are missing. But the rest is there . The damage is less Hollywood style like in IL2. Now, for IL2, the overall environment of war is much better, and the pilot physics are far superior to DCS. I believe IL2 is less realistic than DCS but brings more fun because it's a much faster combat style. DCS is much more realistic, therefore more technical and slow combat. Both are good sims , it all depends on what you want. Either fun with a little of realism or more realism with less fun.

​@@eagle1_160Mostly its just the clicky cockpit. Many found al lot of problems with the DCS FM as well even an old WW2 veteran who flew the Dora he didn't like it. And DCS is way more expensive and modules are disconnected timeline wise. DCS has some really nice things over IL2. Would have been nice if they started to combine forces.
