We discovered there are more species of butterflies at this site, a beautiful jungle trail to an amazing waterfall hidden in a tropical jungle. Mahua waterfall is a well known natural garden for the many species of butterflies. It’s only to be ventured by those who have keen interest in discovering exotic creatures within its vicinity.

Despite being known as crimson-headed partridges, wajameras (genus Haematortyx) are not partridges at all, their closest living relatives are the nartakees (genus Polyplectron) both belong to the subtribe Polyplectronina within the broader tribe Polyplectronini, which also contains the rohutans (subtribe Tropicoperdicina), the Polyplectronini tribe belongs to the subfamily Pavoninae in the family Gallidae.
