Highland Camp || MAWMLUH || SOHRA- CHERRAPUNJI 🌧️ 🏕️🍃
The Highland Camp, operated by the Mawmluh Tourism & Allied Activities Cooperative Society Ltd, (MTAACS) is located in Mawmluh, Sohra⚡️🍃 It offers a peaceful getaway amidst the hills and riverside. The campsite has three cottage tents and four new cottages, providing comfortable accommodation. 🏕️
You can enjoy the serene surroundings, away from the noise and crowds of the city. On your way to the campsite, you’ll be treated to a beautiful green landscape that looks like a picture-perfect window on a PC. You can experience a bonfire at the campsite and witness the stream turning into a massive riverside during the monsoon. 🌧️
Activities such as trekking, nature walks, and caving are available for you to enjoy. The Highland Camp is an ideal destination for those seeking a break from city life. Make sure not to miss out on this wonderful spot when you visit Meghalaya.🌿

Because the culture is different from the rest of the country and in northeastern states almost every states house is similar design just like a hut except Assam and Tripura

OMG, watching this video brings back the most amazing memories of river canyoning in Meghalayas with the Orange Jacket Adventure team! It was like a splash-tastic party in the water! Vyashakh, our super-cool guide, taught us how to rappel down waterfalls and swim through rapids. It was like being a superhero! I even got to wear a cool wetsuit and use a fancy rope to climb up the rocks. The water was so clear and refreshing, and I couldn't stop laughing and screaming with excitement! That adventure rocked my world!
Did Vyashakh teach you any cool techniques or moves to conquer the water slides and cliffs? I'd love to hear about your newfound canyoning skills!
