It was just after leagues that night. 5 bowlers per team, so they got lots of usage well before we shot this video!

No they are not, but if you do choose to use a non drilled ball you do have to have an X stamped where you hand would go. That way you are throwing the ball from the same hand location. If you do have a ball drilled, all holes must be in use to be legal.

Personally I like the Effect more. But it also suits my game with high end pearls. It is very strong and very flippy so keep that in mind if you decide to go that route. It all depends on what you're looking for in your ball reaction. We appreciate the question and love to hear that you enjoy what we are doing here. At the time i polished it i didnt have the 3.0. I also like the look of the polished 3.0 more than the dull surface

I had to polish my 3.0 as well.i couldn't keep it on the right side unless it was first game fresh.

@@Tnguy865vols yeah I use my 3.0 for a game and a half then I use my zig zag for the rest of the evening

I would suggest that you don't talk to the camera unless you are in the frame. It is very strange to hear you talking but your head isn't in the camera. I always try to help people when I can. You two seem like nice guys so I hope you have success with your channel.

Except Hammer and Radicaal are owned by the same company so that makes it better.

At the time we recorded this the bowling alley was close to closing and it was about 7 games into the night. The intention was not to play super tight with them but majority of the shots were pulled.

Being he just bowled a 300 with it a couple weeks ago. I don't think the jackal going anywhere

Great Question. I got it Drilled to a 40x4x40. My original thought was to have more overall hook from the ball than my normal layout. I do like how it reacts and hits. Even though its a 14 it stores a lot of evergy and packs quite a punch.

What's wrong with that. Nothing wrong with trying to grow the sport!

I've bowled a 274 game before. This is my first full year of bowling. I've tried the normal way and I just can't get my hand to do the right thing. Maybe if I stayed with something lighter to get my arm and wrist to get muscle memory.

@@DowntheLaneBowling Maybe invest in a good bowling coach? Or there are a ton of video's on youtube with things you can practice at home, its not hard to become a 200 avg bowler but next level up from that is very hard.

I've tried a coach. He coaches college players. He's the one that drilled my ball actually. He just laughs at my approach, but says it it works for you. If you watch on tour there are many different styles. The one thing that will improve my game is spares. I'm looking to get a spare ball soon. If I can just pick up my spares my average should take a jump. This is only my second ball I've owned. If you watch my son in law in the other videos you'll see someone who's been bowling since he was real young. He just got his first sanctioned 300 this year.

What ball do you use? How is it drilled? If it's not aggressive enough ball or the holes aren't drilled to make the ball hook more. I'd start there. After that there are a number of things

I use a Hammer 3-d offset. For how it’s drilled, I’ll have to ask the driller. (I just got into the sport this January and it’s been a hoot)

With more speed you need more revs on ball to grab the lane. Oil pattern also plays a factor. High speed is not always a must. We bowl with a guy that is around 12mph and has a 200 average.

So for me I have a mixed bag so I can make the transition between the 2 weights easier. The biggest thing about it is how im feeling. If i need more control at the release ill throw a 15. If im throwing the ball well and want more "power" behind the shot ill throw a 14, unless im getting a better shape out of a different ball.
