NEO - a DIY air purifier for ventilator with virus filter (HEPA)
มุมมอง 1.9K3 ปีที่แล้ว
NEO is a Do-It-Yourself modification for enhancing air-quality. It can be used on classic room ventilators with a rotor cage with diameters from 30cm up to 45cm. The ventilator sucks in air and blows it through the HEPA-H13 Filter. It guarantees that 99.95 percent of all small particles will stick in the filter, which include bacteria, viruses, pollen, dusts and smoke particles. Content: 0:00 W...

    Thank you for this idea, i think instead of generating electricity and then drive fan for cooling in summer we can directly run the fan from this gravity powered geared mechanism.

    Absolutely love gravity generators. Might be a good idea to make gravity powered noise cancellation for this one, though - those gears are noisy!

    • @seeker1015
      @seeker1015 ปีที่แล้ว

      Helical, one sided or Herring bone, two sided gears would fix that. The pattern distributes the forces across the teeth progressively instead of clunk, clunk, from one tooth to the next as happens with Spur teeth here. That's where the noise comes from. All gearboxes in cars use helical gears for that reason and for the extra strength. You may hear in older cars, mainly before mid 60s, that in first gear they whine. That's because makers saved costs with cheap spur gears in 1st and reverse.

    Perhaps if you dig a deep hole for the weight to fall down, like a well drill and casing. With more gearing to slow the descent. And what if we used either tap water or collected rain water and filled the container/weight with that.

    • @tuyetoehme3478
      @tuyetoehme3478 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! yes really good ideas, but the building is World Heritage. That is why we are not allowed to drill in the walls, celling nor floor. We actually wanted to make a circulating system, but without any proper attachment on the floor it seemed impossible in the amount of time we had. And in our test phase we used a water tank to define the effective and best speed ratio for the gear box.

    • @MuhammadFrazAslam
      @MuhammadFrazAslam ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, I have an idea ! Can It be possible to use this mechanism but instead using Heavy Weights ( like you use a 2kg weight) we use Water Cans that can accelerate much like that of Iron weights. Use 3 of such Water Can weights side by side on as much heights as possible say 2nd/3rd Storey of a Building.. Install Two (2) Big Water Tanks of shape Rectangular that covering the entire side by side line mechanism of all 3 Water bottles widths, One on Top of where driving gears for these Water bottles mechanism held and Second on bottom beneath these water bottles. Use Gears as you use and link them as if 1st Bottle reach bottom, the 2nd Bottle will reach Mid and when 2nd Bottle reach bottom, the 3rd Bottle reach Mid and all these Water Tanks are linked with Gears mechanism so there is no Timing issue, this setup will always same when run. Water Cans will move from Water Tank to Water Tank as by using a water filling and emptying mechanism, i.e if One bottle hits ground in the bottom Water tank it will empty there and then pull upward for again filling water from the Upper Water Tank installed and for all Water Cans the procedure will repeat. We can use a small motor to fill Upper and Lower Tank as necessary. NOW THE QUESTION IS IF ALL DONE CORRECTLY, CAN IT BE A PERPETUAL MOTION BY APPLYING A SMALL INPUT AND MAKING A BIG OUTPUT FROM THAT ??? .@@tuyetoehme3478

      The two orange ropes are moving contrary, so if you hang in the weight in one of the rings (at the top), the second ring is at the bottom/floor and comes back to the top. Back there you can use the other ring. The two ropes are actually just one long rope, wounded up several times around the spool.
