Ed Wood: Glen or Glenda? Modern Trailer

Ed Wood's 'Glen or Glenda?' (1953) was way ahead of its time. It addressed many topics that remain taboo to this day: it showed the connection between transvestism and transsexualism; it highlighted the difference between homosexual transsexuals and autogynephilic (transvestic, fetishistic, straight) transsexuals; it addressed the burdens and struggles these men's wives and families had to endu...

EXPLAINER! How Trans Activism Got So Toxic And How We can Fix It
I would love some new videos from you!
Hope to see new interviews from Arty ❤
Dr. Az. I think your description of the intention behind drag is overly simplistic in today’s “new world”. Your idea that men in drag are merely saying “up yours to gender rules” no longer applies because it does not explain why the drag community has targetted going to schools to access minor children. My observation and research indicates that the drag queen community has been cooled by MAPS (pedophils) and by the overall gender cult intention to legalize mutilating and sexualizing and abusing children.’
To anyone who thinks adult males should be able to take cross sex hormones and undergo body mods.,, or who simply make the verbal claim of being a “woman” - NONE OF THEM should be allowed to violate ANY women’s spaces, sports or rights - because they are NOT women.
I think the interviewers comparison of tattoo regret or resigned acceptance is a poor comparison. Medical complications from tattoos are rare and amongst those that happen they are typically limited to curable dermatological infection and scarring. Tattoos can also be removed. Meanwhile the vast majority of cross sex body modifications and cross sex hormones lead to lifelong SERIOUS and irreversible medical complications, a total loss of sexual function and a shortened lifespan. Therefore the likelihood that someone will come to accept their decision to destroy their body seems quite unlikely. For a tiny population (circa 2%), they may remain content, but the reality of the insanity of the obsession, the medical complications, the loss of sexual function and the fact that nothing they endured actually made them into the opposite sex - means that long term regret rate is likely to be extremely high. I submit that gender ideology is being used as a vehicle to violate the rights of women and children without needing to undergo any medicalization whatsoever. This allows society to erase women and legalize child abuse. Both of these outcomes have permeated human history for thousands of years.
Your side makes a lot of sense, actually
it's frustrating when people try to appropriate traditional third gender roles as some way to support modern western gender ideology.. sorry but they are NOT the same thing.
Ya can't help that your stupid. Considering tjere is no theory it's just facts trans people has been around for as long as humans have been around. And there has been many studies, papers and research done on it. And making like that doesn't exist Doesn't make un-true. You're littlerally acting like a child. Saying shit "if i ignore it, it's not true!" Lol Question? Why are you people so obsessed with us? You need to stop yourself being really creepy especially towards kids. You do realize when we tell our kids about stranher danger we're talking about people like you? I have never met anyone one else who is so obsessed with people genitals especially kids genitals. All of you are wierd and creepy. But please keep talking so everyone knows who the pedos are. Lol and it's a really good idea If you want to argue against a subjuct to actually do your research on it. Because trust anyone one of us knows way more then you do. And when you talk you just sound stupid. The type of stupid where you're trying to argue the sun is green stupid. I'll be reporting this. Idk if it would be under lies and misinformation or harmful content or what. But everyone really need to do something about all of you delusional people spreading BS and bring everyones IQ to your level. With the internet you would think that people would be getting smarter not dumber but apparently You are getting dumber. We really need to let mother nature do her job and start letting her hand out Darwin Awards to all of you.
Thank you for your work! Finding you, Graham, and the others has been such a liberating experience. ❤

Az Hakeem’s book ‘DeTrans’ is the follow up and is excellent.
Excellent, a much needed explanation of the clear similarities. I've been calling it Gendertology, but doubt it will catch on lol.
Yes, this is a very good point, the views of these people makes alot more sense when considered in this way. Thank you
I also was a very effeminate little boy who went through the same phase as a kid where I desperately wished I was a girl, hated seeing myself in boy clothes, etc. But by the time I was in 7th or 8th grade I had very much embraced being a boy and dropped the effeminate behavior and mannerisms - though of course I was still gay. The trans activists would probably say I underwent "trans conversion therapy" as I was *heavily* pressured by my environment and my father specifically to "man up" - but if that's the case then I guess trans conversion therapy works because I love being a man.
The answer is lower immigration and consequently a tighter labour market. Less demand for housing and more demand for labour to rebalance the power between capital and labour. The question is why do supposed left wing governments oppose this?
lowing immigration will not halve anyone's rents. It will just stop them doubling again.
Is it a cost of living crisis or speculation crisis? Yes you are right and did your home work. We can't have generational wealth with out future generations not giving up. We have a productity crisis and a stagflation problem soon. Just look at all the renovations shows we have on TV to flip and rent out.
No where near rock bottom. It can get so much worse
Real Estate everywhere is dead in the water.
The Financiers have taken over and the politicians have allowed themselves to be bribed to facilitate this. However it is the lack of knowledge/education amongst the population that also leads to this.
Came back because I forgot to add: Housing is a Human Right under Article 25 of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights and under Article 11.1 of the 1966 International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR). Canada ratified both, and Canadians need to exercise those rights. Shout it from the rooftops.
i hope you know this mess were in is done by design, they want to make so bad so they can usher in their shittier solution.
make it insurmountably expensive to own more than 1 home. simple fix.
Agree on principle but it won't work until we reign in the mortgage fraudsters & money launderers, because they will dump millions into property they have no intention of ever living in, just to inflate prices and provide a vehicle for washing their laundered money.
Solution: make it illegal to rent a house. If you want to rent it has to be an apt. Further, no person can own more than two homes and can only deduct mortgage interest on their residence. And no corporation, LLC or foreign person can own a home. A violation would result in seizure and sale of the home and forfeiture of 50 percent of the sales price. This would hugely increase supply and dramatically drop home prices.
I get your point but No. Lower-income people like yards and gardens too you know - not OK to herd them all into apartments while only homeowners get to enjoy nature; that would just be an even starker contrast between the "haves" and "have-nots". A better solution is to make it illegal for for-profit "investors" to buy any residential property at all, and instead restrict rentals to non-profits, land-trusts and co-ops (which already own many detached homes that they rent affordably). Yes to the rest.
Glad to see a new video from you, Arty
1m would be more like $6000 / month
Thanks Arty. I fled and I fear God turning me into a pillar of salt for watching videos like this, but I can't look away. CMHC said it would take an extra trillion dollars to build our way to housing affordability. So let's say we pawn the wedding ring and find the money - where are we going to find the investment capital to create a competitive economy on top of that? And that doesn't even take into account the plummeting loonie. Go all in on natural resources? Cool, but it takes a decade or more to build a pipeline and twenty years to develop a mine. And who is going to put up the money when you can get such absurd returns by buying houses? Things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.
I’m deathly tired of real estate becoming fetishized the past few decades. I remember reading an article about of Stanford graduate in 1970 who had a dilemma trying to decide whether to buy a home in Palo Alto or Modesto to start his working life. He chose the later-which obviously seems like a preposterous decision in retrospect (but was a rational decision by his reasoning at the time). Your assertions about Japan are true. My wife owns an inherited home near a train station in Tokyo. It is a good neighborhood and relatively nice but low value by west coast standards. Constantly sub dividing lots for duplexes (or more) is an absurd solution without a corresponding upgrading of infrastructure (which isn’t being done). Thx for the good opinion.
Excellent points! The housing situation in Canada is a disaster 😢
To understand why, look to the nature of money and how it is created by bank lending and how lending is collateralized by assets and how debt based money has an embedded growth imperative and must always expand. High asset prices, including high real estate prices, are a structural outcome of the nature of the debt based money system itself; A feature, not a bug. Inflated asset prices may nominally boost GDP and benefit a select few, but add nothing in terms of real productive value and ultimately harm most members of a given society. Since asset price inflation is a consequence of the nature of our money, the desperately needed "reckoning" you mention cannot and will not happen absent a catastrophic financial crisis. It's not just incumbent homeowners who would be harmed by lower housing prices. Deflating real estate asset values would threaten the underlying debt structures comprising the assets of banks' balance sheets, threatening their solvency and exposing the financial system to risk of failure.
Many gangsters have come to Canada as international students From India.
You have to be one of the smartest guys I have heard in ages. Kiddos man!! Absolutely correct. The inconvenient truth as you say is that no one wants to work and prices have to halve or more. Collapse is the key word. People don’t want to hear that. The government is scrapping the bottom of the barrel to keep this going. Thanks dude I thought I was the only one who thought this way.
Phoenix, Az. Is unaffordable. Who want to invest in a state in a hundred short years will be uninhabitable because of the sweltering heat. April 90 degrees already😓😓
Your Attorney General is suing RealPage* and several big real estate firms for price-fixing, along with 20 other States. Look it up and voice your support. Shout it from the rooftops, and when you win your cases the chickensh!ts in Canada might have the guts to follow suit. *Just watched a good vid of her and the lawsuit by 'A More Perfect Union' - search "The Real Reason Your Rent Is So Damn High"
Here on the west coast of Florida too.
A huge imapct on house prices was the Covid mania that resulted in COLOSAL governemnt printing of $$$ that inflated property prices. Remember the Transitory claim of the fed bankers. They knew it was inflationary the printing , the sheep are sheep because thay are sheep.
For home values to drop all over Canada the Bank of Canada has to raise interest rates. They're atill holding rates at 5% because they dont want to cause this issue where things get dire for homeowners.
Raising rates just give the parasitic landlords another excuse to offload their higher mortgages onto tenants, as usual (so not helpful). We need a policy that first-time buyers *(primary dwellers only)* can get the same locked-in low interest rates that the parasitic "investors" were given, and outright ban "investors" from buying residential real estate at all. "Housing providers" (purpose-built rentals/multi-units) must be limited to non-profits, land trusts & co-ops. Nothing else will work.
Trudeau is an idiot
if the politic does not regulate the situation, reality will. Look at Chinas real estate market, what is imploding currently.
Don’t get me wrong, but the Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver experience with the price of real estate is quite different than a lot of the rest of the country. Value is still available in the large and smaller cities of the prairies. Yes, the general cost of living is high right now in all areas of Canada but real estate is still achievable if you were to relocate to more affordable areas of the country. In the large city I live in, new housing construction has been going on for many, many years because people keep moving here from other provinces. You can buy a single family home here for 400k+. Condos for 250k+. I know it can be hard when you feel emotionally anchored to a location but there are other options available and more reasonable that the markets of T.O, Montreal or Vancouver. The value of real estate in these locations would decline if demand dropped. International investors and poor policy has exponentially increased the prices for locals.
If you think a single family home for $400k or a tiny one-bedroom for a quarter of a million dollars for a one-bedroom condominium IN THE BOONDOCKS is reasonable, I don't know what to tell you. That also means basic rents in 3rd- and 4th- tier cities are still double what they should be for the economy to make sense. These numbers need to be halved.
"Achievable" is not "affordable". Nothing is affordable in Canada anymore, not even in rural Sask. Alberta is booming from all the people leaving BC & Ontario. No one should have to move - look for a new job, leave their established communities, uproot their kids, etc. - just to find an affordable place to live. Fix the problem at the root, which is the financialization of housing. No "investors". They are parasites.
Ever rising Real Estate/property value has been driven up by uber rich over the years, thus driving disparity and inequity even further between rich and poor. The bubble must burst.
In the US we have the same housing crisis, and similar dynamics also for the spiraling cost of Healthcare and college education. Something has to give.
As a dual citizen who moved back to the USA in the last couple of years: it's soooo much worse in Canada. Here I can actually afford to start my business. There the only ways to get ahead are landlord or member of parliament.
Benchmark home price in Canada is now over $800K. For a totally average 40yo bungalow or shoebox condo, new builds are even worse. The US bubble crashed in 2008 (not due to sub-prime loans, by the way) but our housing bubble just kept going, and going, and going...
Same in the San Francisco Bay Area. Insane.
Please take this as constructive criticism: I would enjoy your videos more if you looked at the camera.
Not all business models are legal. It is possible to criminalize real estate speculation. This means creating a market where buying a house buys a house, not equity in an investment. These limited equity models exist and have been used for years in cooperative housing developments. Now is the time to criminalize corporate landlords.
New Zealand has followed the pattern you have outlined. Now families have their teen children skipping school to work…….
Higher value on homes to tax us on too...from US my taxes doubled.
They are building many condos but also apt buildings here in Victoria. Nice looking places but not affordable. The gov says that it's affordable but a studio $1500 isn't affordable then one bedrooms over $2000. I don't know how anyone is affording these places.
Apartment rentals maintain poverty.
Hopefully you can invite a couple of real estate economists on to debate.
Speaking of, steer clear of an org called the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness (CAEH), and their main mouthpiece Mike Moffatt, who's been a gov't consultant. Dig in and they are staunchly pro-developer (pro-landlord and "investor", pro-subdividing and overpriced infill, etc.). Good people to bring on would be Ricardo Tranjan, who wrote "The Tenant Class" (2023). And UBC Prof & Urban Designer Patrick Condon, who wrote "Sick City" (2021). For years he insisted we need only "build more housing" to restore housing affordability (what everyone is saying now), but he now admits he was wrong, and that only "non-market" housing can save us. The book can be downloaded as free PDF from his website "justicelandandthecity".
I thought about the tattoo issue. Mainly when youngster's are covering their necks and even face. Apparently our brains don't develop fully until after 25. I think it is the prefrontal cortex, responsible for rational thinking. Funny how you call it 7 years because 18 years old to 25 years is 7 years ..just a thought
You can't tell your biological sex by looking at the outward anatomy of one's body. Because unless you get genetically tested then you know because of genetic abnormalities that cause intersex and other closely related conditions.
My immediate reaction is why is this guy thinking so hard about trans people? Answer he's an incel. Gender identity first became prominent in the 60's. In a perfect world no one chooses anything. They are simply accepted. This guy. 😂
