the best track by Procol Harum what a master piece

Repent Walpurgis brings tears to my eyes hearing this again and live. Matthew Fisher on organ is stunning but with the band and added orchestra it transcends. Definitely one of my favourite Procol songs! ❤

Great to see the prominence of Gary's piano in the two instrumentals at the end. Brilliant renditions of Grand Finale, Repent Walpurgis and Conquistador (twice!)

Beautifully haunting. But why was this not included in Procol’s first album? Salad Days was but not this and Salad Days was credited to Reid-Brooker when Fisher was said to have written the soundtrack.

Gary Brookers vocals are incredibly beautiful. BJ Wilson sadly hidden mostly but you can hear him at least. I’ve always loved the 2nd side of their 2nd album, mostly for these epic tracks. I couldn’t stop crying when I first listened to “this” when I was 13 or 14. Their music touches hearts and souls. I feel this group saved me from deviancy, homelessness, and Kept me SANE! Oh wow Gary and BJ…..

I'm 73 now. I was 17 when I first saw one of the best Bands of lifetime. Listening to the oldest recordings of Harum make be want to cry with joy. Can I relive the 60's in Heaven ? I pray so.

You obviously knew "In Held 'Twas In I" inside and out, directing your camera to the next segment, be it band or orchestra or choir. Thank you for sharing this treasure. Incredibly crap piano sound !!! This is a wonderfull procol track why such a bored rendition ,and Copping had found HIS sound on the lp ,and here all the great harmonics from the hammond aren't heardable ....
