1939 Allis Chalmers B cold start.
I messed up that’s why it took so long to start. Flooded it a bit. She worked through and popped off strong!

Had some starting/running issues with her. Found my valve lash was way out. Put rebuilt head on her and fixed some other opportunities I found. Didn’t record first fire but none the less I see tho fitting. Really it’s third. So rebuilt head fixed leak in fuel tank and found radiator leak wasn’t fixed. Struggled with getting it to run. Thought I had my mag not right. Messed around and found out ...

@@MrBjamin25 I had one, vicious bastard! 😁 No matter what I did with the timing,it always tried to bust my arm. I've got a 1945 Standard Fordson, never tries to kick. Also a petrol Ferguson. The Ferguson pulls a trailer with the Fordson aboard. That's how I get to shows. 🇬🇧

Dad & I rebuilt a '39 B and mounted a Woods mower on it exactly like yours in '66-67. Mowed 4 acres of yard until I moved out 5 yrs. later. Great memories.
We had a '37 B that Dad & I mounted a Woods mower to. Mowed 4 acres with it for 6-7 yrs. till I got married.
