damn. my childhood. this was the first game i ever played on pc. crazy its still goin.

I can't tell you the wave of nostalgia I got from opening this video. I spent daysssss in this dungeon during retail leveling up and forgot how much I had committed it to memory until this very moment.

this would have been cool in 2004 but we live in 2024 and no amount of nostalgia can bring back the past, even despite the lack of any good rpg's at the moment

the problem is you people have ruined this game with apps like Vtank and whatever else.. basically destroying the economy. When I quit the game, I remember trade bots in the marketplace that had hundreds of stacks of MMDs. Thats an over inflated economy that needs to be fixed. All those notes need to be taken away. Money needs to have weight again. Enemies need to drop less money. Items need to be worth less money. When I started playing, money had weight and a D note was basically the common currency. Only really high level players with max strength could cash an M note, so you didnt get them. Then one day, they removed pyreal weight, and suddenly, almost overnight, EVERYONE had more money than they knew what to do with.

How do you keep your quests organized so you know which to do when and the routes to take etc? Is it just by memory at this point, or do you use a notepad or something?

Holy hell. This game changed so much since the year 2000. Quests? Foci? A mote when you start the game? It boggles the mind.

I'm using Greatsword. Thanks for letting us know max is up to +20 without story bosses to get the bell bearings.😊👍

As a leveling guide for other people (like myself), this video is not very useful. Many of the quests require a fellowship to be even remotely possible at the level stated. Other quests require supreme knowledge of exactly where to run and where to jump, since the character is too low level to fight the enemies, meaning it's not possible to go through using a guide since you cannot stand still to look at it. So this is a leveling guide for AC experts, who probably don't need a leveling guide if they know how to flawlessly run these dungeons. Obviously, get in a fellowship and do stuff above your level is universal advice - I don't need a guide for that.

You can play on my custom server just to make your videos and then go back to lev to do whatever it is you'd enjoy doing there? Can make you a infinite use dispel gem that has like 30 second cool down so its not too OP? regardless keep up the solo work my boy.

My question is how do you guys get rare weapons on a non macro server? I have played like 20 years of non macro and found one rare helm in that entire time haha.

I think the problem is the emptiness of the game being private servers. They really are sitting on a potential MMO gold mine if they would just remake the game exactly how it was, modernize the code and graphics, smooth things out, but leave the world exactly how it should be and change nothing lore wise or story wise or quest wise.

Cool vid man ... I was playing this game before you were born from the sound of your voice hahaha - I remember smashing Diamond and Coral golems farming motes endlessly back in the day. I cant remember now why. But I could mow diamond golems down with my battle mage. Just mow them down. And they would one shot strong players. All I used was a Hoary Mattekar Robe fully buffed and it was like wearing a fortress around you.

How do you not take a lot of damage without melee d? All my toons when I played got wrecked. I played melee d spec archer with full 7 buffs.
