Why is the Dovetail ad named as "how to create a standout PM resume"? This is a clickbait right? Is this forced as we commit a certain number of views?
You guys are so well spoken, I really enjoyed the video!! I've been struggling to transition to PM for while and was at a loss on what was going wrong (aka couldn't figure out my gap) so this conversation was super insightful
Hey can you post a resume template that you'd recommend ?
yeh, we can improve thumbnail. We can make thumbnail of consistent styles and colours to make it as your brand colours or Branding. Give me your email whatsapp or something where we can communicate and I can share my portfolio

Good interview. Learned alot about current things. What books he has suggested in this video? Also can anyone post the time stamp for it ?
Is your voice generated by AI ? Or modulated by any software ?
No?
@@growproduct ok, I feels like some voice modulator has been used. No problem,, But you always produce great content and keep up the good work.
1:12:35 When discussing behavioral interviews you mentioned that you just profiled 5 PMs about their experiences, where can we find that? Nothing on Substack:(
Here it is! www.news.aakashg.com/p/how-real-pms-get-jobs-in-this-market
That’s actually really great content. It’s in depth and applicable for SaaS. Thank you
Thanks so much!
super good video. take away is that the puppy dog works in PLG but is called the reverse trial.
Hahaha
Any templates/good articles on how to build growth models? It is still not very clear what's so special vs normal financial modeling with a bottom up approach to revenue generation built in.
Yep! www.news.aakashg.com/p/step-by-step-build-a-detailed-growth
Hey Aakash! I’ve been working as an inventory analyst/manager for the past two years on campus and also completed an internship in the health sector as a data analyst. I’ll be graduating next spring, and I’ve realized that I really love building new things, collaborating with teams, and interacting with managers, which has sparked my interest in product management. I’m aiming to pursue a junior product management role after graduation. Do you think new grads can break into PM roles? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Also, I loved your video, your LinkedIn post, and I’m subscribed to your newsletter. Thanks so much!
Definitely possible, I’ll make a full guide on it but the most important thing is to target a startup and build work products for them.
Great episode
Thanks my guy!

Thanks for this super useful breakdown, Aakash. Are these pointers applicable only for TPM roles or other PM roles too?
I think it's all applicable!
Amazing ❤ Best video i was looking for
Ah thanks so much
This video is gem, you guys talked about everything in a single video, I watched it again and it feels like lets watch it one more time, Thank you so much for sharing Aakash.
Thanks again to both of you guys. PLG unlocked! ❤
Diego is so awesome. Even in the present market, I regularly get compliments on how I answer interview questions thanks to what I've learned from his interview prep course. I'd highly recommend it for anyone who wants a deeper dive into how to approach PM interviews.
Thanks Akash. Watching this on my flight!
Hope you enjoyed!
2 minutes in a utterly bored - what a sad life you must have to watch 2 hours of this.
This is Superb. Thank you. Would love to see a monthly talk between you two. I don't think just 2 hours does justice to how much you two, have to offer together.
This the video I was waiting for, thanks for sharing Akash
Hope you enjoyed it!
Do you enjoy talking about product management?
Yes, do you?
Yes! I am tired of overburdened PRD templates and love the double diamond approach for a PRD lifecycle. Once again, the audio and video quality is great!
Thank you!
This was an excellent episode, some great tips shared by Ravi, loved listening to this.. thanks!
Thanks so much!
Thank you Aakash for putting this up. I really love the whole convo. PLG is my current explorations, and I am focusing heavily on the flywheel part. It really is a masterclass. I feel like I should pay, lol. Thanks again to both of you guys. PLG unlocked! ❤
Ah that makes my day, thanks!

Aakash, thank you for the opportunity to be on the other side of the chair. You make such a brilliant interviewer. I cannot believe we recorded for almost two hours 🙈- time flew. I had such a blast. I hope the community gets a great added value out of our conversation. We did our best, and we did not hold back. Thanks again for a great collaboration. I love your podcast. 💜

I loved this episode and I’m looking forward to new ones. I'm a Product Manager from Brazil and have been in this role for over 4 years. Only now have I learned some of the things you mentioned. I'm starting to write more on my page, studying the market and the PM role as well. I’ve already shared this episode on my LinkedIn!

Hiya, good show today, which article exactly was on design with AI?
Is that a Neffex song in the background at the beginning?
Lol yep copyright free
@@growproduct If you want motivation in the gym just listen to Neffex.
It took me three sittings to completely listen to everything but everything was worth it. Hoping for similar content. This was just awesome, everything is so relatable.
So glad you liked it!
@growproduct, am kinda stuck on the experiment architecture mentioned by @Satyajeet Salgar, I mean while experimentation is designed based on assumptions to be validated depending on the point you're at different stages of development, for lean organizations, how can they have this set up, - what is the makeup or structure of an experiment architecture like?
The discussion on the product end-of-life is absolute gold! It highlights one of the most overlooked concepts in product decision-making: opportunity cost.
Thanks for having me on! It was a lot of fun.
As someone looking to break into product, this is valuable.
Glad you found this helpful!
