@douggw Well, a lot of "important" people say that it is "unAmerican" which is such a loose term in general, but most people believe that it really is going nowhere. Hardly anyone I know actually wants it to go on any further.

@douggw yes.. I hate our government. It reminds me of going to an island and finding savages there and everyone else in the world is civilized and we're left behind the past 100 years.

@douggw haha I think 90% is over a few.. Idk.. Culture might play into it as well. People expect others to act a certain way in a specific place and when they don't, it's considered rude. I'm probably just used to it now. It's odd, yet pleasant to have a stranger speak to you nicely. I normally laugh at my country, but I can't help but try to protect it from stereotypes.

@douggw I understand what you are saying. I'm not going to lie and say this country is made up of incredible people. I just hate it when people say that everyone from the US is phony or ignorant or stupid or uneducated fatasses (or all of them). And then, those same people turn around and talk to me like an angel. Maybe they are just using their manners, being respectful, or something idk, but that seems pretty "phony" to me.
