My name is Isabelle Pouya and I am an 19-year-old singer-songwriter from a small town South Bend, IN. I sing to raise awareness about social issues around the world, hardships that youth experience, mental health, and disabilities. Behind all of my original songs, it's a hidden positive and hopeful message so that we can aim for a better future despite all the challenges in our world. My dream is to empower people through my music, and I'm determined to get closer to my journey.

I had the opportunity to perform at Gallery Cabaret in Chicago, IL. I had a lot of fun meeting other artists and connecting with other people in this space. Your voice sounds pretty good, all I noticed was rounding off on parts that usually hold a bit more and some mismatches with how you sang it. You do very well on the “Let the sky fall When it crumbles” parts but the “Stand tall” needs a bit longer on the t-ahh-l. Also the “face it all together” and “At sky fall” just need to blend a bit more sound wise with each other and the rest you sang before. You have a great voice and with those little tips I hope you can sing this part and the rest of the song beautifully! This is a unique song I’ve also been enjoying while singing recently for my choir :)
