Here is a video of Ellie's muscle spasms that she has once in a while. It started the day after the fire at the house and has been happening irregularly since. The spasms last from 10 minutes to over an hour. She is fully conscious and does not seem to be in pain. Since the first episode she has had about 12 or 15 of these. was she given any treatment for this? My puppy has the same thing right now but she whimpers in her sleep maybe because shes uncomfortable.
Hey there, She underwent every imaginable test and it was determined that she was suffering from some sort of PTSD after being in a house fire. She was put on Xanax I thought a few weeks and that seem to help. Does your dog only show the symptoms in her sleep? If so, could it be that she’s just dreaming excessively?
