I have been yearning to address our exorbitant spending on the Department of Defense for a while. Even Eisenhower, a Republican mind you, warned us of the dangers of the military industrial complex in his televised farewell address (a snippet of this aforementioned speech has been included in this piece; nevertheless, the audio has been saturated so heavily with effects that it is virtually unr...

I have been itching to address Alzheimer's disease for quite some time now (stretching all the way back to my days in high school.) Nevertheless, I shelved the inclination for ages. The aforementioned urge was rekindled when I listened to The Catetaker's "An Empty Bliss Beyond This World." The graphic art in the video is also mine; it is called "Lastly Delirium, and On the Next Occasion... Prop...

Pour moi c'est la plus belle création de Philip Glass ❤
I vote yay yes and continue. I have a note to myself to reach out to you tomorrow, 12-16-2024.
Послушайте ещё его этюды в исполнении Маки Намекава, а метаморфозы в исполнении Валентины Лисицы. Вот чудо!
❤
Astonishing, inventive, always renewed like a river continually flowing over the rocks!
I put borax and baking soda in a bottle of liquid barkeepers friend and shook it up. The top blew off and my bathroom exploded with white goo all over the place. When I look on my TV screen, the picture on this album cover matched almost perfectly. I still haven't cleaned the screen because it makes me laugh to see how this war with the mystics I've been having for the past 20 years finds its way to reach me in the most ridiculous ways. The power is in us and it needs to find it's way out. I tell the world and no one listens but, its because know one can hear. The signs in the sky have been showing us and no one can understand what their looking at. We call them clouds but, they are not clouds. We call everything something but, its really nothing at all. We use science to learn why but, we still don't know how fish appear in a lake. We can't ever prove anything and why would we want to. If we knew everything there would be no need to be here. We're a part of the entire everything but we're the most important part of it all. We are nothing. We technically don't exist. We're still in the process of creation and that's why we can't ever die. Trial and ever. There is no one perfect anything.. So, fu ck you Christ. Fu ck you God. I say this because of what this world has become indoctrinated with. Our governments have been using this god belief to enslave us and they use the esoteric mystical beliefs to embedded magical thoughts into us as we sleep. Their astral plane is crashing into their twin towers. As they run down their stairway to heaven the doors to hell are locked. Its as if they were only dreaming hell was a place in the first place. As each floor crashes down into the next. Each floor caves in. The bottom drops out and the free fall flows through us. We witnessed them do this to themselves. People were sacrificed to this god called who fu cking cares. It was all entertainment and big ratings. A narrative was formed in the womb of the world. Its sick. Its nasty. It makes a person want to kill. Kill what? We can't even kill ourselves. That frustration is God unable to do anything about what or why he was created. Its the cop out excuse for what we cannot or don't want to understand. A made up idea to calm this disease. Its trying to come out. It rolls within my hands tapping to the beat. The resistance is the war within me. The words it makes cast out the brings that use me to see. Fu ck it...
Vizslas are the best dogs. I loved mine....

I regularly visit a friend who is progressing into dementia. She watches simple tv programs and films but cannot follow the story lines . Sometimes, I place headphones over her ears so she can enjoy music that way. I played the soundtrack to The Hours, by Glass. She said, “I could listen to this music all day…”.
Very touching 🤍 i hope she's well

❤Ciao Ahmed, eine gute Reise wünsche ich dir.....❤❤❤
.
amazing !
This sounds beautiful. :)
This sounds like the beginning for one and an end for another to show that life goes on but sometimes you can't bring someone you were hoping to, or at least not the way you wanted to, but you live on not just for them, but for everything you've done together.
This is so beautiful, 12 years ago is just wow, this was posted when I was 5, funny how time can bring someone to a place they never thought they would be.
damn same

I remember buying the Mishima CD in 1987, and being transfixed by the music. Today, 45 years later, the music is still as relevant to my ears as ever.
Are you from the future then?

Thank you bobs burgers
I can’t begin to explain how beautiful this song is. Wayne, Michael, Jonathan and a couple others were so young and naive yet produced one of the best Flips songs ever. This shows me that Wayne was a hell of a songwriter just like Steven, Wayne and the early Flips produced some amazing gems. Long live the greatest Oklahoma psych band ever ❤!!!
Bob’s Burgers brought me here
I watched the episode by myself on Christmas Eve and was not expecting the end to hit that hard. Not ashamed to say I cried like a baby
@@Matthewsss Same! I cried too love that episode ❤
what is bobs burgers?
I liked Philip Glass the first time I heard him. Hypnotic. Elegant.
I'm not a rich person, and because of that I am not "well-travelled". But I have a collection of Glass' recordings from which I listen to every day. I think that he has found a way to create a new and different and unique state of mind, a new experience. As chemists or architects create new things, Glass has made something new under the sun with his music and it has become a very positive and enriching gift for us.
What does anything you just said have to do with being rich? You think only rich people are allowed to listen to Glass?
@@coolandgood1010 Sorry to annoy you. No, not at all. But access to live performance and travel to see performances, as well as access to recordings is most of the time out of my being able to afford. Also, time, with my aging and its associated limitations prohibits me from hearing and seeing things I love. I feel lucky to enjoy what is left of life, and his music makes it all lighter and happier. I envy the "rich" nothing. My children have taught me that wealth comes in many forms.
Beautiful comment ❤
If you can listen to Glass, understand and feel his music, you are rich. I feel pity for all who will never experience what Glass compositions have to offer.
Great music transports minds beyond economic status
