What A Baha’i Family Looks Like
At the core of family life for Tianqi, Daniel and their 2 children are the Baha’i teachings.
Their kids have the opportunity to enjoy a culturally and racially diverse community. Spiritual education is a must. A true appreciation and understanding of all religions is taught. Helping children be aware of their surroundings gives them a sense of accountability to make this world a better place. The "art of consultation” becomes a part of their family’s
problem-solving tools.
A “virtue tree” lives proudly in their home. They actively study virtues and try to practice them. th-cam.com/video/AR6yOloYvsg/w-d-xo.html

Steve: Buddhists do not believe in a God/ Most Christians seem to believe in a Triune God that they call the Trinity. Jews believe in a single God as do the Muslims. None of these religions really agree with each other on very much. I too am a member of the Bahai Faith, but I am very unsure about these other faiths that we claim to agree with.

Sorry for the long post, but I had a strong inclination to write something, though I so often fall silent on the internet. An important note about the mysterious emergence of these characters making mean comments on this video, some of whom the individuals I have seen many many times unfortunately (for many years now) writing comments attacking the Cause of God in so many other videos by Baha'i creators. Unfortunately they must certainly spend so much of their time immersed in antipathy for the believers and writings and the Central Figures. One should lament on the great time they devote to spreading this hatred while so many working for the sake of the Blessed Beauty and humanity at large devote it to building love and respect and tolerance for one-another. One would also hope that they would instead devote themselves to unifying and loving matters. Every week, if not every day, I talk about explicit or implicit endeavors founded on Baha'i principles to foster those kinds of virtues in myself and my fellow man; how sad it is that some people would rather sit behind the anonymity of a computer screen and try to trap people in needless arguments. This shows the transformative power of Baha'u'llahs message and the sick nature of some of the voices in the world. As Baha'u'llah says- the greatest and most lasting proof of a Prophet's validity is the transformative effect of the Word that He delivers on the people who hear it and accept Him. For every Baha'i who sees these nasty comments and doesn't say anything mean in return but is patient and kind, perhaps making a few remarks, is a proof of a weighty Message; for ever believer who shrugs and avoids an argument completely is a token of the Spirit of the Age; for any soul of any diverse belief who in any context shows tolerance, if not kindness and fellowship to people of other beliefs is a sign of the pervasive power of the Proclamation made on Rizvan; and even the people who make jabs and jeers at the Friends are proofs that Baha'u'llah's claims of an illness in the world that requires the Divine Physician. In every context, souls vindicate the Message of the Blessed Beauty. So stay steadfast in your kindness and ignore cruel words and expect those who think themselves to be enemies of the Faith to grow in their tactics to attempt to drum up nonsense on the internet. I love you all, and it is my love for these detractors that I say I hope they abandon these petty arguments and join so many people devoted to healing our society in any context- not just ones with a Baha'i label on it- and you do your part to foster inward and outward development of mankind and we do our part and we see the fruits of this endeavor as partners, not as enemies. God bless you all!

During this Pride Month, which has been celebrated in so many diverse and controversial ways, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to, and awe for the countless same-sex attracted (SSA) Bahá’ís who have selflessly served the Cause of Bahá’u’lláh down through the decades. I personally have witnessed SSA Bahá’ís serving on National and Local Spiritual Assemblies, as members of the Institution of the Learned, as pioneers, as well as among the dedicated rank and file of the world-wide Bahá’í community. In an age of materialism, racism and identity politics, their example of identifying as world citizen Bahá’ís rather than by their biological, material or sexual identities, serves as sterling example that we are all souls who happen to have bodies (not the reverse), made in the image and likeness of the attributes of God (justice, kindness, truthfulness, faithfulness, purity, etc.) We are all different sized and shaped mirrors, with the same function (vocation); that is, to identify as reflectors of those attributes, the way a mirror reflects the sun; not to herd in clusters of like mirrors, taking pride in our physical similarities. The mistaken self-image of identity politics not only emphasizes separation over our true human unity via our common vocation, but also allows the world to go dark as we take pride in our personal or tribal mirror while we forget to and/or fail to reflect the Sun. Thank you, for your example of obediently reflecting the Sun and making the world brighter, my beloved SSA Bahá’í brothers and sisters. “Noble have I created thee, yet dost thou hast abased thyself. Rise then unto that for which thou wast created.” - Bahá’u’lláh

Instead of sitting behind and just talking about spirituality and all that let's help Bahai refugees in Turkey and other countries. It's just the same old thing over and over. It's the worst so-called religion if you ask me because all they do hide, deny, and pretend everything is ok and they are the solution for the future of humanity which is absolutely the biggest lie if you ask me as being a child of a Bahai parents. All I witnessed was cruelty, neglect, and zero support from the so-called Bahai faith. There is no faith there is nothing but greed and lies.

@@RocketGator05 I wrote an article titled "48 Reasons Why I Left The Baha'i Faith," but have not uploaded it yet. If I were to draw out one major reason, it would be the fact that the Baha'i "administration" suppressed and covered up the Baha'i "Book Of Laws" (Kitab-i-Aqdas) for the entire time I was a member (and for about 150 years after it was written!), saying "It's not been translated yet." (It had been translated several times.) If I were to have read that book -- the straight unadulterated text -- in the beginning, I never would have joined. The "Baha'i Faith" that the "admin" foisted on the world is very different thing than what you see reading the Kitab-i-Aqdas. Really just a primitivistic, Islamic, and strange sect was all it was. The "universalist" ideas were cherry-picked and magnified by the "admin" to attract progressive westerners.

This video has greatly helped me in my understanding. I am an Adventist Baha'i. The Adventist in me is that I am a vegetarian. The Baha'i in me is that I respect all religions. To me, the Baha’i Faith is a new cycle of human power that brings humanity together. It generates energy & desire to fellowship with people of different tribes, races, nationality & religion. It's a power that works to exterminate from the face of the earth any feeling of superiority or inferiority. It's an invitation to fellowship with diverse peoples of the world. It promotes the use of scientific and prayerful ways of solving problems. It's a power that instills in individuals & society the confidence to question ancient beliefs & institutions that promote hatred & fear.

That's so interesting. I've pretty much lived most of my entire life in line with the Baha'i teachings without even knowing this faith existed. There have been times when I was faced with the hard and deadly virus of racism and I would turn to God in that moment and say I forgive this person who is sick with racism because they just don't know the one simple fact they we are made from one quilt with many colors and living on one rock that belongs to all of us. I always like to share the basic truth that we should always respect and embrace each others differences and do our best to bring us all together especially through a medium like the creative arts. As an actor, singer, and film maker It is my number one priority to unite us all in every way possible. Thank you for sharing your faith and thank for your incredible mission to do the work that needs to get done. Many many blessings to you and your team. -Yancey Arias

Perhaps you should carefully consider that if Jesus "HIMSELF IS GOD", as you claim, why would Jesus say, “The Father is GREATER than I".? John 14:28 and why did he say "Why callest thou me good? No one is good but God alone" Matthew 19:17 and why did he say "Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.” John 5:19. Why did he say "I seek not my own will but the will of my Father who sent me". John 5:30 if Jesus "Himself is God" why would he say: "For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me."? John 6:38 Do these statements not defeat the law of non contradiction? If Jesus "Himself is God" he would not repeatedly and emphatically refer to God as greater than he was and that he had been sent to do God's will. God is clearly distinct from Jesus so this is an intrinsic contradiction. Please also consider another important question. Was Moses God? "Then the LORD said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet." Exodus 7:1 Could it be argued that Moses "Himself is God" based on this verse?

Sadly, you probably won't believe this, but there is no Satan, there is only God!! Evil is the absent of good, darkness has no existence; you don't turn on the darkness, you turn off the light!! Satan, or evil, is the 'insistence self', not a power that exist!! You actually choose to be a 'Hitler' or a 'St. Francis'!!

Thank you for your interesting talk. Albeit, the conflagration of "trust in science" and the "vaccination" hype pushed by the media for VERY different reasons than science does not sound scientific to me nor rooted in religion, but rather like a personal conviction. Of course we are all entitled to have our personal convictions but it would be better if we don't label it as "objective science" only because we might have had a glance at some statistics of which we have no clue how they have been produced... The appearance of covid and the reaction of the world's governments is an extremely complex story and it is not nearly understood yet. In any case it is not yet possible to simply say "my view is scientific" and "that other guy's view is misguided".

I would say the wars started by the USA were also motivated by nationalism and greed for oil ie Iraq - where a million people were killed - so sad which ever country initiates a war.
