Thanks mate. The main diet is chick, quail, rat and rabbit. The rabbit we catch goes back in to feed for the hawks so that’s free. Chics can be expensive depending on where you go but I buy in bulk so it’s much cheaper. Quail at the minute is expensive though

Not that I’m aware of. Iv done this a number of times and never had any problem but I’ll look into it 👍🏻

​@@riversidefalconryandbushcraft Yeah, you're not supposed to because they line the cans with BPA and other stuff to make the food last longer that has longterm health concerns. Using the can to cook causes the chemicals to leach into the food. Whatever, it was a cool idea and doing it once or twice probably doesn't matter.

Thanks. He’s in training. He’s good for flushing just needs to settle down a bit as he can be two much for a few of the birds. One of my Gos is settling really well with him though so hopefully work them together next season
