Cool👍
Thanks
I like that Halloween scene. I need a good mural at the shop.
Definitely
I got mine for Christmas 1974. I was 4 at the time and loved it. I never liked the chaps, but hey, I was a kiddo. I always wanted more, but shifted to G.I. Joe Adventure Team. I remember seeing both lines on the store shelves. Great memories!
Great comment. Thanks for watching! I was also into GI Joe Adventure Team. Those early 70s Christmas' were spectacular.
When someone would ask me for a cigarette and then ask for a light I would say do you want me to smoke it for you too?
Classic
Alcatraz and Ripley's Believe it or Not were great attractions I went to in San Francisco.
I have great memories of both places. One cool thing is that there's probably years of old souvenir merchandise out there still.
Meyer, I actually got sandy this journey - thanks bud!
6:56 the birds didn’t eat him because he’s in cahoots with the birds. He made a deal to bring many more of his kind to the beach and in return they spared his life. Devilishly clever, no?
The Harbinger Crab Cometh
I got one as a kid that I bought from my neighbor back in the early seventies 71,72 . CHRYSLER CHARGER MK3 I recently bought another 😂
That's great! I'm going to take these out soon for Christmas and make sure that they are running good.
@@pescado121 Please post a video.
good clean fun! most of your videos I watch on my work computer
Congrats on 500 vids and thanks for the shout outs!
Thanks, you're welcome for the plug. Your shop has great selection and personal service, delivered safely to your doorstep, castle, or cave.
I got crabs at fisherman's wharf. Got the tee shirt too
Crabs are really cool animals, and they are delicious to eat.
You're absolutely correct in identifying the head sculpt as Robert Conrad ... If I'm not mistaken Marx was going to make a James West figure. If you look at the Sam Cobra figure and his accessories that's all stuff from the Wild Wild West TV series. I think they couldn't get licensing or something so Marx went with the Silver Knight head and made him a bad guy for the series.
Yes, thanks for watching and commenting. I think that at the time that I made this, I hadn't learned about the Sam Cobra accessories and body, which as you said were definitely made with the intention of doing a James West figure. Thanks again.
Hi there it came out in 1935 during WW2
Thank you
Congrats on 500 vids, and 800 subs! Nice 👏
Thanks Todd, you helped me with the subscribers!
What happened to your friend Phibes Vibes? I just went to his channel to see if he uploaded any new videos, and it looks like he took all of his videos down.
@@ToddEWalnuts idk he had good videos and a great collection. I'm not sure.
Hopefully he’s just taking a break. I enjoyed his videos.
@@ToddEWalnuts yes, he will be back soon hopefully
Great!
Thanks!
CHICKEN

Amazing!
Thanks Man!
gonna miss these seaside walks Meyer when you move!
Me too, thanks for watching!
One of my favorite Godzilla characters
Me too
Enjoyable to me
Thanks ratblack 😊
Does anyone recall a rifle version of this gun. I thought I had one but cannot seem to find a video of one. I also set up my plastic toy soldiers and fired away and spent many an hour doing this. This was certainly one of my favorite toys.
Thanks for watching. Great comment. I totally remember a rifle version now that you mentioned it.
@@pescado121 So it was not my imagination - lol. I kept pretty close track of the discs and only used the gun indoors, but I did lose a few here and there. I always wanted to but the extra pack of discs but never got around to it. There were a handful of toys I wished I had kept. Sigh.
Cheers bro come to NJ
very interesting!
and thank you Meyer for your service! I see you've got yourself moved -well done friend!
Thanks MM. It was an honor and a privilege to serve. I still miss it. Hope that you are having a great day.
tea ,stack of pancakes & smokes sir. 😃pancakes were a treat not the usual thing.
Excellent breakfast. Thanks for watching, and thanks for the sub! Hope that you enjoy the videos. And have a great day.
i had quite afew of these back in the early 80s,local newspaper shop was huge & also a toyshop they had a large tall glass display full of them cowboys indians knights ww2 soldiers
That's great. These were something special for me as a kid. Imported from Great Britain meant that it was cool. Toys that came from the same place as The Beatles lol.
Looks like a great historic downtown.
Just saw this video and wondering how do you obtain my diploma that I lost? I have no order from 1985 just my dd214. Charlie Mike was my Battalion Commander roster number was 220. I think I was in a different class than you. A lot of guys dropped on request everyday.
Hey, thanks for watching. I'm glad that you found the video. I'm not sure about getting a copy of your diploma. I think that I heard a while back that if you contact the school at Benning that they may be able to reconstruct or reissue you a diploma. But I'm not for sure on that. I hope that you are able to get a replacement copy of some sort. I also remember those morning formations where it seemed like at least one guy per day was dropping out. Airborne All The Way. I hope that you are doing well. Thanks again for watching.
Good Clean Fun
👍
Meyer, you get a new phone or clean your lens? This looks beautiful -thanks bud, hope all is well.
Thanks man. The lens must have rubbed against the inside of my pocket when I pulled it out. I never remember to clean the lens. Sometimes I get lucky. The lighting was perfect. Glad you enjoyed it.
11:08 I wonder if Neptune uses this as a sort of prison for those who litter and pollute the sea? I always enjoy the beach walks. 👌🏻
I wish that's what it was. It's a storm drain for when the tide and waves was over onto the highway, it drains back into the ocean.
Hey Meyer 👊 I appreciate you getting me out of the house for a bit 🫡
You're welcome Easy, thanks for watching
Thank you! Wish he had articulation, but love him! He’s adorable! Hard to find 😢
Thanks for watching, I'm happy that you enjoyed the video
@@pescado121 thank you for posting! I’ve been wanting him for a while, but I wanted a closer look at him. Thanks to your video. I was able to get that. 🤗
I have a few for sale, and I'm also selling an Adolf Hitler. Let me know if anyone is interested.
I had these .they had them in gold color
Yes, they came in gold too. Thanks for watching and commenting
Love Johnny West! In the 80s these were made in my country, Ecuador and have so many found remembrabces with these toys!
Thanks for watching and commenting. I didn't know that the figures were made in Ecuador in the 80s. These were great toys to grow up with. Very cool, thanks again for the info!
Yeah ... What was it about the "caramel" bodies that were so brittle, but most of the other colored bodies never had an issue ?
I really don't know. All of my caramel ones are hard and brittle, and the other colors are perfectly fine.
yeah best Hulk I've seen in a long time -thanks Meyer
Highly recommend for all classic Hulk fans
I am considering getting this at some stage for my figures and repainted other Spectrum personnel. I understand it is a toy and to a degree I don't worry about such things, after all my original star wars stuff is out of proportion...so does anyone who owns one of these worry about the proportion of it, stubby and tall. It's also the fact I have quite a few different SPVs and mostly the proportions are OK. Am I worrying needlessly? And just damn well get one???
I can say that I am very happy with this item. The size and design doesn't bother me, as you said, it's a toy and not meant to be in scale necessarily. It's a great piece. The box art alone, having the ability to display the box with the SPV and figures out in front of it, this makes it an astounding addition to a Gerry Andersen collection. I recommend that you get it if you can find it for a reasonable price and complete with the box. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@pescado121 thank you for your comments and advice. Yes I Will just get it and take it as it is, like you said. Thanks again ❤️
That’s a great looking Hulk. It’s my favorite incarnation of him. Cool figure, Meyer.
Thanks for watching Todd. Super happy with this set, they did a great job.
You are so energetic, not. Lol. But I Love the video and info . Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching and commenting, I'm glad that you enjoyed the video
I still have my Geronimo but list a lot of his accessories and I have pat Garrett and a horse and wagon
Very cool, I'm glad that you still have them. These were great toys Thanks for watching and commenting!
this is the rare green eyes, 1967, not 68' the 1st year, they were made in canada, from-68-70 in mexico and have red eyes.
Thanks for watching. That's awesome, I didn't know about the different eye colors. Great comment.
Hi again. The cave like figures ive never seen any of those and the white figure in a suit holding a gun i take it that's James Bond? Interesting and your lucky bto have them.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
Thanks. The secret agent type figure is from an old TV show, The Man From Uncle.
@@pescado121 Oh. I see. Yes I used to watch that show. Unfortunately I don't have home internet just on my mobile data. So I'm straining to get a good look. I can zoom but to a certain point. It looks like James Bond. Similar I suppose,👍🇭🇲🦘✌️
Those are nice toy soldiers. Especially the large ones. Back in the 70s i had a variety of different sorts. They were cheap in price and here in Australia back then you would find them in odd places other than toy shops like at your local Milk Bar. I think ive made this comment before. Pardon if im repeating. It does bring back memories holding these incredibly large toy soldiers that were of unusual size compared to your 1/32 scale Airfix and Hong Kong made as they were known back in the day. Nice collection. Strange poses the odd one at times but great figures. I missed the German soldiers. I never came across them in my time. The ones i had don't have anymore. Lost over the years. I've seen them on eBay only very expensive now even if they're slightly damaged. Thats a nice collection there.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
When I was a kid here in the 70s these large figures were popular and easy to find. Not so much these days. I remember them being .25 cents each. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Excellent showing of comics Meyer -thanks!
Thanks for watching
My 1963 Christmas present, although Ideal had by then changed the name to "Globemaster", altered the box graphics and reduced the number of figures to a total of 10 soldiers. The set had a lot of play value for it's time and I believe I lost most of the howitzer shells before the holiday was over. The C-119 (aka: Dollar nineteen) was the workhorse of the Korean War. Old black and white videos show these planes by the hundreds dropping men and supplies by parachute.
Thanks for watching. Great comment. This must have been a super fun toy on Christmas morning 63. I'm happy that you found the video. Thanks for the additional information it's much appreciated.
Subbed!
Thanks
Hey Meyer. These random dives are fun. Whenever I watch your videos I feel like I’m sitting down with a pal looking at his collection. It’s a really cool vibe. I hope you are well my friend. Keep fighting the good fight.
Thanks Todd, I really appreciate it. I'm glad that you enjoy these videos, I will keep making them for sure.
