I don't really focus on medium armor enemies with the cookout, I mostly use it for clearing the smaller types and catching the larger ones on fire, it works alot better on hivelords up close. That stagger effect is great against Stalkers and the flames keep them visible even if they jump away and try to cloak.

@prodguardian yea I definitely consider it more of a suppressive fire weapon rather than push weapon, it works good for slowing down bug groups and interrupting certain attacks, like the alpha commander charges and spewer bile attacks. Definitely want to pair it with either a heavy hitting support weapon or a heavy sidearm tho.
