Home movie film of the October 1962 Hershey Car Show (this is what was marked on the 16mm film cannister). Great to watch - people and cars, simply wow!
Der 53er Eldorado ist der beste 🔑🇺🇲🙏
Oh my God, does it get any better then that. I don't know.
My older brother had a 53 Eldorado ,white in 1965. I was only 15, never got to drivei it . What a car it was . ELEGANT !
uuaaaa !!!! a cadillac , a cadillac , a cadillac , a 72 buick skylark and a other cadillac drives to a other cadillac and his cadillac friends for parking at the beach by other cadillacs !!! and the last red 66 is not a eldorado ! two azure blue 53 eldorados ?? ❤❤❤❤ greetings from a sienna rose german 60 de ville !
What a stunner....the music and whistling just terrible...turned it off!
Magnificent!! Hope to see more vintage footage like this.
No Lady drivers
0:39 whats the thing on the lef to this head on the dashboard?
An add on a/c unit. Should be centered, or removed.....
@@3713msg I already asked that question somewhere else and the answer was that it is a "autronic eye" As far as i understood, it detected other cars and switched the high beam automaticly off if a car came towards you. Edit: Oh you are probably talking about the box on the passenger side
So that's where all the old Cadillacs have gone to! ;) Glad to see that they're all being taken care of beautifully. Looks like a mighty fine, fun day! 😎
My grandfather would have been there for the fifth time.
Music all wrong.
Why is that car in Australia?
great footage...of a gone era
A sobering thought just occurred to me. I suspect all of these cars are still around somewhere, but the men pictured driving them are likely dead after 54 years. We are truly just custodians of these wonderful machines.
The cars in the parking lot are now on the show field.
great video.blast from the past I always wanted to experience a show from this Era thanks for sharing also HP is a little different
I saw the LeMans that burned back in the late 70s. It was hidden away in a barn in Ohio. The owner didn't know that I snuck in to see it. This one had the distinction of having had custom work done to it by George Barris. George added the Cadillac dual quad intake and a Lincoln styled spare tire bulge to the trunk lid. I did get to hear it run when it was backed out of the barn. Those dual 4s sounded awesome. It went to California where it burned.
This is one of the best pieces of footage that I have ever seen.
The scary thing about seeing this was about a week or more later. We had the start of the Cuban Missile Crisis. The closet we ever came to WW3.
I agree Blackpool. Those are beautiful cars.
Gorgeous cars, thankyou for posting this video.
...everybody hates us...but they sure like our stuff. I don't think think I've seen a fifties Australian luxury car lately...hmmmm...
wow i'm so used to seeing muscle cars at Hershey....Awesome video!
Two 1953 Cadillac Eldorados in one city...that's some serious cash! Watch out for thieves dude! The other models look great too!
You lucky son of a bee. There's only 532 units of that model ever made...in Warren, Michigan. Some are priced at $400,000 today. Don't crash it DUDE!
I agree totally with you.
The LeMans started life with single headlights in 1953 as you can see the owners had them upgraded to dual headlights around 1958 to keep up with the modern motor trends of the day.
Thank you for the beautiful ride!!
Beautiful ride, thanks for sharing !!
This film was shot in the year I was born.
this is why I do photography and make video clips....
Thanks for posting ! I love it. I am curious about where you found the footage. Seems it would be a hard find in these days.
Awesome video!
Must have been a thrill to ride in a 1912 Cadillac! How was it?
Fun to see Cadillacs from other countries but I didnt really think Australia is a Cadillac loving country :) Great video with lots of eyecandy! To bad that I didnt was there. And them Nissan and Hondas blocking the camera view...
Those were the good old days....
