I'm so excited to see a planner channel actually planning! Subscribed <3 I'm also someone that likes to tweak my layout/usage to meet my needs better, so I love seeing others do it.

This is absolutely amazing! I will copy a lot of ideas from here. Have you thought of putting your entire morning checklist on a sticker and adding that sticker onto each day? But hand writing it in is absolutely great too. I have an evening routine that I will code and input now, just like that.

I actually have been taking a break from YT because I went through my own traumatic experience and stages of grief, although I was mourning the abrupt ending of my employment and all of the circumstances that go with that. So I can empathize with your situation and roller coaster of emotions. I'm glad you had your daughter to help pull you out of your own head enough to catch your breath even for moments at a time. And I'm glad I could be a tiny bit of inspiration to get you even a tiny step towards balance and life. I am still in my day designer ☺️ but I also just ordered a Laurel Denise project planner to try for the remainder of the year. First time in a few months that I have enough things going on to plan out, and it's the first time in a while that I have found a planner that has intrigued my curiosity and sparked my creativity. 😊 🎉 it's the little details that keep us grounded in life. ❤ Take care of yourself and lean on your support system, and know that you have strangers as well as loved ones who are proud of you and how resilient and badass you are for everything you accomplish every day. 👑

I rarely comment on TH-cam videos, as a fellow journal writer I felt that I needed to write this down in order to establish a connection with you. I'm in Asia, a whole other continent from you, probably, and I understand your grief and pain, and I watched your video from beginning to end, listening to each bit of the voice over you did and the decorations you've made. This is a healing video, and I am watching a person in the process of healing herself. I am so, so, proud of you for working so hard to get yourself up from the depth and into a healthy/happy state of mind, for it must be difficult for one to do so after the trauma that just happened. From one random person in the world to another, thank you for posting this deeply personal video and I subscribed, hoping for more content. Good job, and here's someone cheering you on, on the opposite ends of the earth.

You are so incredibly sweet for the dedication and multiple shout outs!! ❣That's never happened to me before, so I feel like a rockstar lol. I'm thrilled that you're going to be using your DD as a creative outlet, for your sake - and mine! lol. I'm slowly working out my planner lineup - I just returned to school after xxxxx(!) number of years, so surprisingly my HP has been my school planner and my DD has turned into my catchall. Right now they're both pen and paper, but I have enough planner friends who are more than happy to offload their post New Year's clean out of their stashes, so there will be some deco in my future. The DD weekly/daily mini is kind of interesting and a bit hard to get used to, ironically because of the size. I bought it when I thought I would have less things to do, and almost immediately after is when my work load doubled! Sorry this is kind of rambling - I've already fallen back into college habits and hours, despite being too old (physically!) for all that mess. I will probably come back and leave a more coherent comment tomorrow. Just had to comment and say thank you (again), and I enjoyed this video and am looking forward to whatever you decide to do in the future.

Because the SI grid and print is so light it’s quite easy to the layout. I’ve done all sorts of layouts and it’s been great. You might try that. There’s actually a great amazing TH-camr that does it. I’ll try to find a link and send to you.

Hi ❤ I will be honest - I subscribed because you were one of the only people who was using a Day Designer flagship daily. I just bought a weekly mini (which is horizontal but has undated daily pages for detailed days) and it is incredibly difficult to find any plan with me videos for any DD, especially recent ones. I do love that you went to a mini HP because I enjoy your style of planning in a dashboard -it's different and aesthetic and lovely. However, have you taken a look at the DD mini? 😊 it is roughly an A5 size, so in between a classic and a mini HP, which would give you a bit more space to comfortably fit everything in and indulge in stickers. I promise I'm not (only😅) suggesting this for selfish reasons; it does genuinely seem like the best of both worlds. Good luck either way. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

The time slots in the Sterling ink planner didn’t work for you, and then you didn’t use time slots in the rings planner. I don’t get it. Ignore the time slots, that’s what I do and then I have a nice extended area to work with. Put a line through the bottom third of your weekly and use that area for your reoccurring tasks. Put your focus item of the day at the top of each column. Decorate the days after you complete the day. You have plenty of blank space. I started using the same layout as your rings planner, and I thought it wasn't enjoyable because each day had a tiny box. Nothing fit in the small box. Maybe you should use the SI common planner tilted on its side so you have long boxes? I hope you find what works for you.

I would suggest putting all of your trackers in the very back so you can group the dailies and trackers together separately

Cute video, and thanks for sharing what you do with us all. I have not purchased any stickers for a little while from the website, so I am saddened that the quality of textures are changing. If the cost is the same (which it seems last time I looked), then that would mean that they’re falling victim to the rest of the system that keeps $ steady and shrinks the product in some ways. Good for them to try, but not for us to have the same experience as before. The experience was a lot of why we were going there for the product, and to have less fun for the same price points to more reasons why it will be longer to get their items again. There’s many substitutions that are worth more value wise, so we can definitely show decisions that way. Thank you again for sharing your experience and thoughts.
