This channel explores two branches of Indian philosophy viz. Nyaya and Vaisheshika. These are two of the six āstika schools of Hindu Philosophy that draw their subject matter from the Vedas. The Nyaya philosophy is known for its theories on logic, methodology, and epistemology, however, it is closely related to Vaisheshika in terms of metaphysics.
The school of Nyaya attempts to define a system of logic as a way to truth and liberation. The Navya-Nyaya (New School of Logic) developed in the twelfth century and specialized in epistemology.
Many of the works have been written a long time ago and are still insightful.
