Embroidering a leafy vine
มุมมอง 8552 ปีที่แล้ว
A short video demonstrating the vine with leaves used for my Briar & Bramble sweater. You can make single or bunched leaves, or make a vine of any length you like. The leaf technique can also be used to make flower petals. No sound.

Love this method! I found the crochet hook method to be too fussy. Thank you!
This is sooooo much easier than a nupp, thank you...!!! 😄 It´s a time saving hack when you normally use the crochet hook method, luv it ❤
That's genius, thanks! 😘
❤ you made my life so much easier. Thanks !!!!😊
Nicely done and very effective.
Thank you so much! It's so much easier than with the crochet hook and all the bubbles come out even 🧶
Thank you for explaining it nicely and ..it's so much easier. Great .
Thank you for this tutorial. Can’t wait for the upcoming pattern!
Aww I want a Halibut cardi🎉
The pattern is coming soon!
Thank you!
Thanks so much! I'm a bobbler now. What's that yarn? I love its gloss!
Hi! I've bought the pattern. R1 yo, R2 k, R3 yo, R4 k. Is it right? :)
I was thinking row 2 was knit
This is looking a-may-zing!!!!
Thank you for this! It's so easy and like it best for not having to turn the work :)
You made this sooo easy to understand. Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for this video! This is much easier for me!
You have a gift for explaining and demystifying the dark art of bobble making! I appreciate your research, and after watching a number of videos, this is the winner for me.
Thank you for this more than brilliant tutorial. Your method creates a nice sturdy bobble indeed.🥰🥰🥰
Hi there! Not sure if anyone sees these this long after the fact. I’d love to try this but would probably want the length a bit longer - would it be possible to adjust the pattern do you think? Where would you start?
This is a great tutorial - thanks! It sure makes those pesky bobbles quite enjoyable and less fussy to knit and the result is super!
You have a channel?! Yay!!!! Hope to see more good things pop up here!! 🙌🏽 I can't wait for my Swanky to arrive to cast on.
Great video. It was fun to “see” you and I especially appreciate your adding the tip about narrowing the shoulders - thank you 💗
Thank you 💚
Very interesting! Thanks for making this tutorial, Caitlin!
Love the subtle texture and the ease to make it. So good to hear a designer give credit to origination of inspiration, too.
Thank you Caitlin for your wonderful tutorial! My first ever top down sweater was your Zweig pattern! It boosted my confidence to continue knitting garments in the round 🥰 Before that I was knitting tons of shawls and socks. I love the boho style and used fringe on most of my shawls. The way I like to add fringe is measure a piece of cardboard and wrap my yarn around it to get consistent lengths. Then I use my crochet hook to pull the ends through the loop to create a perfect larks head knot. Just another option
that's a great method, thanks for sharing!!
I've tried a lot of different ways to make bobbles (LOVE BOBBLES) but your method is really great - NO turning the work and working the backside of the bobbles! Thanks for this....
thank you!
merci pour la video, j'adore vos designs et ce pull est whaoo!!!! j'achete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've just morphed from bobbling never to ok maybe and I don't know who I am anymore 🙈
lol!
Thank you, Caitlin! I am just making the tassels on my Ohra now. I found your video by typing tassels ohra shawl in the YT search. The url you put on the pattern found a weird page.
I'm curious to see what you are working on?
