Terrex adidas Outdoor Flagship Munich
How can Digital Experience elevate the consumer journey in a meaningful way?
By listening and responding to our consumer needs!
Every touchpoint in our new adidas TERREX Flagship in Munich has a clear purpose: to invite, engage and/or connect with our Outdoor consumers.
We are using innovative digital signage to elevate storytelling, create moods and attract our consumers into the store.
At the product areas, we created digital experiences that engage with our consumers by providing them elevated services and key information to support their purchase decision. An example is the “Interactive Digital Footwear Wall” which shows product features and technology highlights every time a shoe is lifted. In addition, the consumers can request the desired size after scanning a QR code. Fully automated and accurate content generation can be achieved via RFID technology linked to our eCom data.
In the Service Hub, our consumers can discover and participate in events & services, such as booking a personalised advice appointment through the adidas app. Or they explore the “Find your Summit” experience which shows the best routes around Munich and the Alps and recommends suitable gear available in store for the respective tour. Each route can be transferred to the consumers mobile device and serve later as a guide during the activity.
The purposeful consumer engagement continues in our fitting rooms where our consumers are being immersed by changeable authentic outdoor environments or experience elevated services in our RFID Smart Fitting Rooms.

      Hi Justin, sorry for my late reply. Yes, we are not offering this service anymore for quite some time. However, there are lots of new exciting and even more engaging experiences and services in our lates flagships. Some of these services are being piloted as we speak and will become part of our retail fleet shortly.

      Hi Mohammad, our adidas LDN flagship store consists of over 43000 sqft (4000 sqm) spread over five floors, out of which 27000 sqft (2500 sqm) is dedicated to retail while the remaining space is being utilised for offices and warehouse.

      @@GEORGE.M.M Hi George, we have an internal retail store design team collaborating with an external design agency. So from a pure store design point of view it is a collaboration. In terms of digital experiences we design them in house and develop them partially internally and partially externally. In case an integration into our digital eco-system is required it becomes automatically an internal creation.
