Place is over run by the homeless these days. It stinks from all the .... and .... Not a place to be at night. Kind of sad.

First place I experienced ocean on the island and without a doubt my favorite beach in the world. When I think of (modern day) paradise, I imagine swinging in a hammock between the palm trees on this exact beach, "working from home." A lot of the sand here is smooth, orzo-pasta shaped and sized, and visibly still seashell bits. It's like sticking your toes in mushy, crunchy heaven. Have been 3 times will be back.

What?! It looks nice and clean here ..I went last month and it was scary it was like a scene from the walking dead there was drug addicts/homeless almost everywhere. I felt unsafe.

I will be traveling to Honolulu on March 31. I will spend a week there. Watching these type videos leaves me very anxious to go. The Island is beautiful and these walks are also filled with beautiful sites. I will be doing a lot of that. Thanks for sharing.

Wow. I haven't been to Chinatown in so long, watching this is new to me. I never went into some of those alleys, and didn't know there were vendors in there. As a kid, my folks only shopped the markets along King Street for char siu and roast pork.

Where do people find parking in this location. Is there free parking anywhere?

..thx for this... if staying in Waikiki sometimes I leave the room early.. leave my wife in bed and go for a nice walk.. all over..when i was a kid about 1960 10 years old this was our playground... to much fun...!!!..

I ate the marugame noodle. I was expecting more flavor..but it has too much msg and too salty. It kind of ruin the noodle flavor. I wanted to dump some hot water in it and wash the noodle.. a waste of good Udon. Beef is generous and thin sliced. Not impressed with low quality seafood tempura it seems it was washed so many times or frozen it lost flavor. Only enjoyed ubi tempura..was on the line for 20 minutes. The ground chili is good. Fast service. Employees seems to work hard. General manager was young and asked around if the soup was salty to the young people next to us and didn't ask me. So apparently before it was saltier.. 😳. I left the bowl half full. Waste of money. The curry flavor is less salty but still missing some good taste since too much msg flavor. Won't come back. Disappointed 😞 with the rave on this place, I was expecting more..I guess not
